First, we must look at the quality of the police in whom are doing the surveying. It is one thing to survey, but it is another thing to consider what is done with that surveying information. My purpose is not derived from an unqualified distrust in police but from a consideration based on historical data and other observations specific to the "police" at this specific campus. The purpose for posting on Youtube is so that others can see this and decide for themselves whether such actions are an acceptable set of actions. The fact that these actions are unwarranted and unwanted are more to do with historical particulars, specific to SFSU, than an overall generalization of all police. If you do not go to SFSU or stay abreast as to previous actions here, then I would not expect for you to understand. As for the right to observe, I have not and will not deny that fact but if you are to observe, in the capacity as a police official, then do so in uniform. No uniform, no trust. No trust, no good.
