@EuphoriaRising I believe it is hooked up to cubase. Not hard to put this into a live rig, you would just need a laptop computer and an mbox, and then feed the signal out to whatever amp you want to use.

@M15577 so if i get the cubase would i still have to get a kaoss pad? im sitting on about $1500 and am trying to chase the matt bellamy sound. i have a fender stratocaster and i was going to gut it and put in a humbucker and fernandes sustainer, the amptone xy touch pad and i was going to get the midi controlled whammy. i was considering installing a zvex fuzz factory but i might just keep it on the floor. What i dont understand is the difference between cubas and kaoss. Do i need both?

it costs too much !!! iv worked out that with everything at most costs £1,200 Sooo Its loosing money because not many people are buying ( well normal people ) anyway !!! make it cheaper and make them quicker and there you go !!!! @pugNdrum thats the same for anything though, when it comes down to say a car you are getting seriously ripped off if all you think about is material cost. What your paying for is the effort put in to making it (man-hours) of which there are many and also the hard work that went into making it possible to launch it as a production guitar. It also means that this guitar will be exclusive (not many people will own it). AND because the production is so small, it is essentially a custom guitar

@philly624 HAHAAH I did the exact same thing to one of my old custom ibanez roadstars. took a roll of duct tape, then a month or 2 later i covered it with glow in the dark paint splatters but i recently took it all off because i forgot to give it a clear coat and the tape started peeling after a few months. once i get the time i am going to do that again

and also, is it only Kaoss pads that work with this? or could i use the midi controller through say a range of Boss pedals?

@wue2117 you will have to buy a kaoss pad as well - the X-Y pad in the guitar controls a kaoss pad. it can control other things as well, such as cubase as you can see in this video.

As far as I know the mini KP won't work, as it doesn't have a midi connection. So it would have to be the KP-3 or even the KP-2.
