  • You should cover The Ides of March by Silverstein :)

    Good work man, youre awesome.

  • when you play you listen to the music. i play useing a mic'ed set and some triggers. now i have them all hooked up to my dm5 and the mics into an exturnal mixer and have them playing through my head phones as i play. to either intremental - drums or just to any regular music, with which i just turn up my drums over the song then turn the master down a bit so i dont blow my head phones let alone my ear drums. do you listen to just the music or do you have it set up so you hear yourself as well?

  • DO SOME ESCAPE THE FATE. Please do Situations!

  • hey i am looking into drum trigers and i was wondering what brand made good trigers and what moduals were good for recording. note that i dont want to spend over 100 dollors a trigger and im looking for trigers that arnt huge on the toms and snare but the base can be huge, from what i have found rolan rt 10k is good for toms and snare and the ddrums red shot is good for base. please help with any info you got thanks

  • Cobus who? =)

  • Awesome cover. What cymbals do you use?

  • why u gtta overhead behind u

  • @thepain258 I use the recordman overhead method, it pretty much eliminates phasing unlike spaced pair mic'ing doesn't

  • Congrats on getting in to Berklee, you're exactly what they are looking for. Good luck man.

  • @never3818 I't was AWESOME anyway LOL

  • great job excellent

  • Your website has a really nice layout. Oh and btw nice cover man i love watching you, starting to find more of your own style different from Cobus! :P

  • You're one of the best "cover-drummers" on Youtube! :D

Keep playing and you'll be a pro in no time!

  • @johs12345 check out metallicafan2910

  • @KvSwooo Hey, he is good. But it's hard for me to judge since I'm not really in to that kind of music. But thanks for the reference :)

  • not bad m8! some times after a break and you were getting back on the ride you increased the rythem slightly but other from that rly well dune m8!

  • You and Cobus are kind of similar. Both good drummers and nice recording :D

  • Dude You Are A Beast Good Work :D

  • congrats on making it to burklee! You deserved it!

  • I'm sorry I'm posting so many comments on this video here, but I was looking into the Xs20 Medium Thin Crash because I'm on a low budget. How do they sound? Do you recommend them?

  • @theapplefreakk haha they're a bit too bright for my tastes, but if thats the sound you're looking for, they're quite cost-efficient. You can hear how it sounds by listening to either cobus' hybrid series or my covers of Life is Beautiful, Until the End, Change my World, Tell me Baby, and Crimson. Hope this helps!

  • Please more drum covers!

Looks like you got lots of new cymbals. Mind posting the specs? :)

  • @theapplefreakk no new cymbals, but all my specs are on my new website :)

  • @never3818 Yeah I saw ur site after I commented. haha my bad

  • Very nice cover man, I might put a guitar one up! Oh, and best of luck to you in berklee!

  • smile steve!

  • Good job!

  • Excellent drumwork, dude!
