What's wrong with the world today? Is that people think they have to hide the things inside that really say This world could be a beautiful place Have you ever seen how a touch makes people pull away? And to smile at a stranger's not the thing to do today But why, I'm asking you why, oh why Does it have to be that way? Cuz It's so easy to show your love Yes it is It's so easy to show your love It's so easy to show If it's the world that you've been thinking of
You know there's really no point in living a life unless you try To see past the hatred and war Bring a little feeling to the fore Once I walked alone after taking people for granted But then I found a friend and I know we'll be together 'til the end It's so easy to show your love It's so easy to show It's so easy to show your love It's so easy to show If it's the world that you've been thinking of It's so easy to show your love
Can remember selling her a ticket for her car to go on the ferry from Wellington to Picton not long after 1905 was a hit when I worked at the Lower Hutt railway station we were both then same age born 1955 I remember thinking she was so cool hope she enjoyed the trip

This brings back lots of memories of being at school with all your mate most of which i havent seen for 25 years or so now.
They were great times when all we had to worry about was getting caught smoking/ or fooling around behind the bike shed

Listening to this song I'm reminded that Shona Lang was just a teenager when she released this and 1905, exceptional talent.
