With all that ''cheesy'' moves and O-faces he gives us a show so we enjoy the music and the performance as well. Also if you watch him practicing he makes those faces as well...he is just that much into the music.

@godssoldiers777 because the Jem is Vai's guitars. its like having someone like Travis Smith doing a photo shoot for Ahead for sticks and having him sat behind my drum kit.... he doesn't use it. he doesn't use mapex drum kits... he uses DDrum. so he'd be doing it on his DDrum kit. makes sense that a guitarist has their guitar with them on an amp photoshoot

He is one of my hugest musical influences, he has made many albums solo and in whitesnake, played with the holland orchestra (which he did an album with) and is still going strong with his newest dvd/cd "where the wild things are". no, i AM a violinist aswell as guitarist. what i'm getting at is that because there are no fretss, you can put your fingers where you want to make it in tune. You only really play two note chords on a violin and it's mainly melody.
