  • Is the bad guy captain hollister from red dwarf? His mannerisms seem really similar...

  • DAMMIT I KNEW I WASN'T MAKING THIS SHOW UP!!!!

    This show was awesome!!!!

  • @gallohad i totally feel the same, i thought it was glam rock metal detectives, there's my problem....

  • Is the one with the dreads the bloke that used to be in Eastenders? Paul Truman or something?

  • I wish I had a guitar whose pitch changed when I turned a throttle handle... :( I used to watch this when I was about 10, initially hating it for shifting The X-Files from the mum-friendly 9pm to the dangerously-close-to-bedtime 9:30.

  • This really didn't work on tv in the 90s but kinda does now. strange :P

  • The theme tune was written by Lol Creme and Trevor Horn - with Lol Creme's son Lolagon's band along with Jeff Beck playing the tune

  • I loved the show. The intro song was written by none other than Jeff Beck who's good mates with the director Peter Richardson who also did the Comic strip. First time we see Gary Beadle who went on to Eastenders and Doon who went on to Smack the Pony. Phil Cornwell used to do Bowie and Jagger on Steve Wright in the afternoon. The villain in this is the captain on Red Dwarf, Just a bit of background for you guys.

  • I Don't remember the program, i remember the song though (I Must have been 10).

  • I remember this well and have been hoping for a DVD release...

  • This sounds like a wacky Jane's Addiction clone band...

  • hahaha i mind o this

  • Dude i to am the only one i know that remembers GMD evewryone one else thinks i make it up

  • I dont know ANYONE who remembers this!

  • I know one other person who remembers it, whenever glam-metal comes up in conversation (which it sometimes does) we both talk about our favourite bits from this programme whilst his wife looks at us like we've just walked in from outer space, ahh fun times :)

  • Was there an episode where they bumped into David Bowie (played by Phil Cornwell) who tried to get them to a party? He pleaded "I've got cocktail sausages"...? (I quote that a lot but can't remember where I got it!).

  • Loved this show, Fist of Fun was on straight after this on BBC2,but the Glams were my fave'

How come nobody remembers this show? it feels kind of like an prototype "Mighty Boosh"

  • Hey,dude,I remember it so well...;-)

  • I loved this show so much... do you have the one about the cat and the microwave? Thanks for posting this one x x x

  • thanx, this needed to go up on youtube and never die.

  • I love this so much, so glad it's up!!!

  • I believe the comedian was called: Willie Witless.

  • I believe the comedian was called: Willie Witless.

  • I am eternally shamed by the fact I bought the theme song...I got rid of it years ago though.

  • so did i man , so did i, i remember it had a crayzee horses cover

  • lol i can remember this episode

  • What was the name of the shit stand up comedian on this show? I remember him telling the most random joke about Astronauts eating a packet of crisps and thinking it was hilarious when I was young
