Usually dog shoes are used for mountain climbing because the rocks can be harmful to dog paws, this is good practice for the dog to get used to. This is clearly not abuse so don't spout false accusations, there are worst cases than this.

I don't have a dog but it was the same when my Cat had an operation she had to have the Cone on to stop her biting the stitches.. This isn't cruel. In my cats case as soon as I took the cone off she bit them and it started to bleed.

First of all these aren't baby shoes. There are shoes made specifically to fit dog paws. Secondly it's not cruel, in fact in some northern regions, pet owners put these on their dog's paws before walking them if there is snow on the ground.

@smivv02 I agree with you totally, when my little dog had her hysterectomy she had about 5-6 very neat little stitches, but Sheba didn't have the collar or boots, I stayed with her overnight for 7 nights sleeping down stairs, she was really a trooper and never touched them!! But during my wait in the vets surgery they're were quite a few animals with wearing protectors to stop them getting to their wounds and undoing what had been done. There is always someone who knows more than the vet !!!!!!!

i'm gona go out on a limb here and defend the owner of this video... the dog has an anti-bite collar on.... yes tha lampshade... to stop the dog biting out the stitches if it's recently had surgery... the shoes are to stop the dog scratching out the stitches thus saving it from a painful experience... so to all those who are like the knob jockey below me do background research and watch the videos properly... fucking tit....

@smivv02 I agree with you totally, when my little dog had her hysterectomy she had about 5-6 very neat little stitches, but Sheba didn't have the collar or boots, I stayed with her overnight for 7 nights sleeping down stairs, she was really a trooper and never touched them!! But during my wait in the vets surgery they're were quite a few animals with wearing protectors to stop them getting to their wounds and undoing what had been done. There is always someone who knows more than the vet !!!!!!!

@XFunkWizardX if you have to leave your dog unattended for any period of time, then the animal should go into a kennel. the cone is only on for approx 10-14 days after surgery, and can come off when the sutures come out.

The fact is if i were to put shoes that made it burdensome for you to walk on your feet you would be pissed, and if i put i hat so you couldn't scratch your beard than i think you would get really frustrated.

The video with the little girl throwin puppies in the river....Now that's animal cruelty!!!! PEOPLE STOP BITCHIN ABOUT THIS. IT IS NOT ANIMAL CRUELTY. The dog is in a home and im pretty sure he's well taken care of. Obviously because the humans took the time to take him to the vet so the puppy would be in great health.

People are intitled to their own opinion. I thought it was funny, the dog wasnt in obvious pain and im sure the boots were taken off after. Proper laugh. Also im sure you laughed at first before you felt sorry for him and if you think this is cruel then dont watch the video or comment in the first place, youre just pissing people off.

Uhh, technically, a dog trying to get shoes off isnt animal cruelty. If the shoes were way too tight, or constricting the dogs bloodflow, THEN itd be cruelty. YOU ALL FAIL.

He just doesn't like his booties.. my dog used to do that all the time when we tried to make her wear them. and they have a head collar on him so he can't rip them off which is eventually what my dog would do as well.
