How long did it take you to render in vegas studio. I have t3i and vegas 9 with a laptop that has an I3 processor and it seems that the rendering if shot in 1080p takes hours or it just wont render at all in that program. are you shooting in 1080 or 720p?

@tara81 Hey Tara, are you on Pro or Studio? Anyways, there's several factors that could be involved. Do you have a lot of RAM on your laptop? I would recommend at least 4 gigs minimum. Since you're on an I3, I'm assuming your version of Vegas 9 supports both 64-bit and multi-core. If not, I would recommend an immediate upgrade. My render for this project only took about 5 minutes to render.

Hey thanks for responding wow 5 mins is pretty fast maybe its a issue with memory on my side. I actually just bought the laptop so.... Just takes the thrill out of wanting to show off your work when you got to wait forever for it to load up :( thanks for replying though

@tara81 I understand. Rendering can get discouraging, esp. when it takes so long. I've dropped a few projects because I did some 3D modeling and it took forever, even on an I7 processor.
