Great idea, bro. But start doing sons gs with no effects on them when using such a good guitar. :-) You would do well to get a looping pedal for stuff like this so you can do melodies over it. :-)
@davidbrucemusicvideo I could use a looping pedal for sure... hard to step away from effects for me, though I do know this guitar sounds nothing like it's real-life self. A shame, since it has such a responsive, gorgeous sound to it!
I'm not sure why its so hard to step away from effects. This would sound way better without them. Plus you keep hitting the low E string in the beginning finger picking part. If you're gonna use so much effect, I would definitely get a looping pedal. At 1:55 it gets so loud, I'd love to see something more with the piece. Great ending it with a neck wobble. Very cool.
@t3hgir sorry i forgot to reply sooner! The tuning here is DADABE, although i've started tuning it all down a half step because tuning up to that higher A puts a little too much tension on it, and about every 10th time i was tuning up to it the string would break haha.
Thanks! I wasn't totally sure what i was doing here, just messing around, so just ignore the few kind of awkward moments ahaha. One day this will be a finished product :p
@zeppelinman4232 Thanks so much! I've not listened to much Iron and Wine, though they've been recommended to me a bunch. What album should I pick up?
