  • I always wondered whatever became of the buffalo braves. Then i found out

they are now the Sacramento kings (with one or 2 stops in between)

  • @webmail111 No, the Braves became the San Diego Clippers in 1978, then the Los Angeles Clippers in 1984.

  • @webmail111 not the kings their the clippers

  • Uh, Dave Cowens dominated Kareem in Game 7 with 28 points and 14 rebounds. Jabbar had a very subpar game and ran out of gas. Cowens ran him into the ground, shot over him, drove around him and outplayed him completely.

  • Basket by Heard of Buffalo.

  • Big Red

  • Dave Cowens was a working man's hero at Center, you never had to worry about him playing hard or giving his best effort.

  • @FrsBigeasy He was a poor man's Bill Russell which means he was probably a top 10 all-time defender.

  • Cowens was amazzzzzzzing

  • Wow, that arena in Buffalo was filled for game 4.

  • @raiders1967 That place looked insane for Game 4.

  • fuk johnny most

  • Jim McMillan was a badass.

  • Way to go Jo! (Jo)

Not the first time you were alone at the line under pressure (see end of 2nd OT in the greatest game ever played).

  • Swish, swish, no problem. Of course nowadays they would have reviewed the clock situation.

  • Comments: 1. Ramsay was awesome in his dispute of the last-second foul call on McAdoo. 2. "In this situation muscles tighten and the ball becomes as heavy as a lead weight." Johnny Most was exaggerating and awesome in his pre-hacking-cough tones.

  • Hard to believe that the team that is now the Los Angeles Clippers was once one of the best teams in the east.

  • Gar Heard's buzzer shot was only a foreshadowing of things to come.

  • I'm assuming MLinden22, you're referring to the shot he made in Game 5 of the 1976 Finals?

  • Which was the greatest game in NBA history, bar none.

  • PeerlessPaavo, that is indeed true. It's unfortunate though that the NBA doesn't really tout that game, or it's history that well.

  • Celtics were to good in 1974

  • The Bucks were just as good in 1974. Even with old man Robertson, Kareem was far better than Cowens. The series went to 7 games. Boston just had better depth.

  • JoJo had some pressure on him for real...

  • Indeed he did. At least he made both shots. Ginoonkamote, thanks for the video. Do you have the 1974 Eastern Conference Finals as well?

  • wa that against the knicks?

  • Yes it was. And the Celtics won 4 games to 1.

  • @ginoongkamote yes that was. an exciting series that went 7 games. i was a huge KNICK fan of the 1970's . the KNICKS led 3-1 in the series & the CELTICS came back & tied it. the KNICKS won game 7 in Boston & beat the LAKERS for the championship. it was an exciting series all the way. i just miss those years. enjoy. ****
