Why are you thinning the thickness of the stave?

We've found that just a little clean up is enough to keep debris from falling off the interior of the drum.

@johalloran In addition to removing all the char and wine stain from the inside, I thin the staves for better resonance and to get as uniform a thickness as I can all the way around the drum.
