Great, well-informed review. Only correction: the belts aren't entirely useless. You can see them in the main character select screen. Obviously, it would be cool if they would wear or carry them to the ring.

I used to play the nintendo emulators on my pc and fire pro came in the bunch i downloaded. needless to say, i loved it and was excited when fire pro wrestling returns came out for ps2. i bought it when it came out ( for which i paid 20 bucks) and was blown away! i immediately forgot about my copy of smackdown vs raw 2007 and still to this day, fire pro has been my go-to game when it comes to wrestling! and great review! I'm glad you're spreading the word about this fantastic game! :D

@PowerGohan91 I can only read SOME katakana and usually when it's pronounced as an English word. For example, プロレスリング is Pro Wrestling or "Puroresuringu".

But for the most part, I can't understand Japanese.

Not really, you can still use Free McBoot.

@AllieRX87 Yeah, the ARMax way is the old way, now we use Free McBoot which allows you to run unsigned applications on PS2 and by using LaunchElf you can put any type of files to the memory card (since memory cards for PS2 are basically small USB drives and use FAT filesystem).

I wish that you could perform a lionsault ,you can do so many sick moves but you cant do a move like the lionsault. Maybe in their next game,if there is going to be one.
