  • DALEEE QUIEN SE LA BANCA?

  • JAJA COMO LO FAJABA AL HIJO JAJAJA

  • thanks john great liverpudlian like me from liverpool i love my mum

  • One of the most emotional songs ever recorded !!! It don´t get better than this !!!

  • John did the exact same thing with Julian.. :/

  • Check out my personal cover on my channel (FromMusicToMusic), I would really appreciate it! =)

  • personally prefer pink floyd's mother...

  • @SuperMatt31 wonderful

  • @SuperMatt31 Two different songs, go away.

  • Mother don't go...

    Daddy come home!!

    so sad...

  • Oh, Poor John. At the time of the recording this album( Plastic Ono Band) He was going to therapy because of his past.( his father leaving him, his mother dying when he was 17 and other dark things) the whole album is SO emotional. This song has made me cry. But when I cry, I cry for John, I cry for all of the kids without parents. My father left me also and mother has always abused me. and my grandma who I feel was my mother died 2 years ago.Im only 15 but I hope someone will love me someday.

  • @kozmicblues14

I have to say that i understand all that you have said. and it is wonderful that you are able to express yourself in such a way that touched me. However, start with loving yourself, and when i say loving yourself, i mean the way you want to be loved... really accepting who you are and knowing you have a purpose..... then you will attract the love that you desire. Put out in order to attract.. hope this uplifted you a bit. all is well.

  • @kozmicblues14 At least you found John now, when he can help you the most. There's so many others, too. Bob Dylan, Kerouac, Salinger, Plath. You're not alone. All the people of great spirit had lots of suffering. You're going to make it.

  • Children, don't do what I have done

I couldn't walk and I tried to run

It happens to everyone dont let it happen to you...

  • Lennon simplemente el mejor

  • mamaku wes modar

  • :/

  • This is so ironic. John did the exact same thing with Julian. I dont feel very sorry for John here, he didnt give a damn about his own son either so.

  • @BanjoBazookie I'd like to think that to some extent John wanted Julian to hear this and relate to it. To move on from John because he would only cause him pain.

  • best personal emotional songs ever written. nobody will ever beat this

  • es grande simplemente es grande.. no hay mas que decir

  • John Lennon Rock .

  • Woah that was amazing. I love the pictures. The song is incredible, and really emotional. John lost his mother, the poor thing (ditto for Paul) He also went through a divorce. I almost feel like crying. :(

  • i lova my mom very much i loveeeee youuuuu mommmmm :$

  • I missed my beloved Mother :-(

  • this song always makes me cry

  • At 32 blessed to have both my parents, this songs just makes tears flood thru my heart just to think of loosing my parents. It also makes me thrive to be ALL i can be for my two children. Thanks John for all the greats tracks you left us here, on earth. Till We meet one day. xoxo

  • very sad

  • "Julian, I left you ... but you never left me."

  • This song is beautiful and sad at the same time. My "Mother""( she was really my grandma )but she mainly was the one who took care of me)" died when I was 12 years old. I was forced to grow up right then.my father left when i was a baby.I lived with my grandma and my emotionaly, physically abusive mom. Im now 15 and am being raised by my actual mom. shes rarely ever nice to me and it breaks my heart. But I take it and I stay strong only for my Grandma. Johns music seems to take good care of me.

  • I love this song. John <3

  • A very emotional song, as simple as intense , i like it very much and i did a cover of it ... i'd like you saw it and tell me what do you think :)

  • My parents are both alive and this song still breaks my heart, I don't even want to think how will it be when I lose them.

  • @ChuckPalomo Oh wow - Just lost my dad & best friend end of November; mom 11 years ago. Dad & I were close, and I feel very lost & lonely without him. Yes, cherish the moments. I don't know how old you are, but I'm sure you'll agree that time ACCELERATES the older one gets.

  • makes me cry :'( but reminds me of hope

  • i didnt know my dad for the first 10 years of my life, cause he was an abusive cocaine addict, hes now been clean for 6 years and we now see eachother as much as we can :) dont give up hope

  • Fuck I cry every time I hear this song its powerful man full off emot.Another time I cried when I heard it I was in a record/ cd store & right there & then it was playing in the background & this was only after my own mother had died just 5 days before this was in 2001 only 3 weeks before 9/11. Hell man can't a guy cry even if he's 43 as I were then? Think about it you only have your parents once so have respect for them please

  • This is one of the most heartbreaking songs ever. No pretence or hidden messages, just a man crying for his lost parents

  • cant believe its been 31 years Im 14 and im in love with john Lennon i respect&adore his music i wish I was born in a diffrent Era -.- Im sorry if this generation of music is shit i know that for a fact cant beat music like this(y)

  • Brilliant Song .

    John Lennon Forever .

  • as talented & famous as john lennon was, he had a miserable life regardin' his parents. they divorced when he was a toddler. his father went away & his mother later on left him 2 a relative 2 raise because she had a new marriage. i'm not sure about what his father did. i'm sure about what his mother did: she didnt love him. a mother who loves her child naturally & unconditionally can never abandon her child simply because she re-marries or has a new man.

  • @pkving ye i saw the film too.

  • @ThatBritishChris

good 4 ya. however i didnt see the film. i saw several documentaries.

  • Im crying right now, i miss my parents. i loved them both and now they"re gone. I love you mom, Ilove you dad.

  • @Christine 1234517

The song was actually written about how Lennon's father abandoned him and John's mother and how his mother was killed. Certainly not meant to condemn the behaviour of his mother.

  • @Oisinptbyrne wrong

  • mother's really should take their responsibilities on board

  • great song

  • 偉大で孤独で美しくて愛おしい曲である

    異論は受け付けない

  • i had my mama all my life; only problem, she was too young and didn't want me either; OR my dumb dad!

  • John Lennon Forever .

  • Fuck John Lennon, he make me cry again :'(. Why he is dead? :'(

  • this man should be a religion, peace, love and understanding. better than any organised religion i know of!!!!!!

  • @crispee1978 what about Buddhism?

  • i always cry to this song :/

  • una delle + belle canzoni di John. Bye

  • R.I.P = Rebirth In Progress :')

  • @flullul I was thinking that same thing that he went threw them problems and became so revalutionary I don't hear no music like that now

  • This man had something special when it came to music.

  • @MrMGD92 you are ever so right

  • so-effing-sad!

  • Im from Liverpool literally down the road from where John Lennon was brought up as a child, that probably makes me bias, but from being brought into this world basically disowned by his mother and father, basically living life wondering why his aunt was is his mother and not being driven to do well in anything in life to then creating the most famous band in music history and probably my most influential solo act ever, i rate him head and shoulders the best thing music has seen.

  • Give peace a chance and let the dead rest

  • jhon lennon u lives in our hearts, vivs en nuestros corazones

  • everybody chillout! john lennon did what he wanted to do, we all love him for that, he made mistakes along the way, we all do, dont forget that he was a human too, he just accomplished what he wanted to do, we all can!

  • @bionicbigfoot Lennon was a fantastic musician and a fantastic human being. us Brits respect him as both and so should u. or are u more lenient to the people that wanted to assassinate him for saying the Beatles were more popular than Jesus. appreciate his legacy mate, he deserves it

  • @WalczakWally Oh, I certainly do respect his talents..nobody's a bigger fan than me. I'm just saying that this song is the HEIGHT of hypocrasy; it's almost like a joke: "Daddy come home"?!? Seriously? WHAT ABOUT JULIAN?!? Unbelievable...

  • @bionicbigfoot true, so just appreciate the song and the artist then, even if you think he's a hypocrite

  • Lennon's true message was "Do as I say; not as I do." Very odd that he laments his parents' not loving him, while when this very song was written he had NOTHING to do with his own son Julian, who truly needed a dad. Paul was so disgusted by this that he wrote Hey Jude, for Chrissakes! But no, all you bleating sheep, keep talking like Lennon was a Messiah of Peace. Just be glad YOU weren't part of his first family, whom he completely, utterly abandoned. Hypocrite, right up to the very end...

  • @bionicbigfoot Everyone's a hypocrite in one way or another. Also don't speak ill of the dead, it's just disrespectful.

  • @bionicbigfoot I have to agree. Lennon may have said that Julian was still his son, but it took him 10 years to re-connect with him. Even when he died, Julian was left out of the will. Another reason is John Lennon said how he came out of a whiskey bottle on a Saturday night. The only person who seemed like a father to him Was Paul. If Lennon cared for his son, he would have never of lost interest in Cynthia. His other son, Sean Lennon, on the other hand, was a different story.

  • @SuperfastjelIy i fail to see how his children are any of his business furthermore there is probably alot noone knows but julian him and lennon may not of just connected i mean i there are plenty of people who just dont get along with there parents i mean me and my father cant spend too much time around each other yet i know he loves me and i love him and thats all that matters maybe you should think a little more before you go and make john look like such a dick

  • @1austinlee7 I can't begin to comprehend what the fuck you are trying to say. Come back when you can learn basic English and be literate

  • Perhaps the saddest song ever written ..John you are missed..always

  • a simple genius with a simple yet so far unobtainable mission... Just read some of these comments for "fans" breaking the backs of those that have negative comments... are we really feeding in to the small minds still? Lets not give them the power huh!

Live On John Lennon in all those that wish to shine the light from thier hearts!

  • R.I.P John Lennon, thank you for all your beautiful music you've givin' this world, god bless.

  • Oh.My. GOD. xfabulous, you silly twit. I'm talking about Lennon's FIRST wife (Cynthia) and the SON (Julian) they had together, you obnoxious cow! ANY Lennon fan knows ALL about his past, fat ass, which goes to show exactly what a transparent, trendy PHONY you are. *What? Today's Lennon's anniversary? Who's he? Oh, he was a Beatle, you say? Never heard of 'em, but everyone else has, so NOW I'm an uber-fan*. Fuck off, bearded lady.

  • John Lennon Forever 1940 - 1980

  • This made my eyes water...wow. RIP AND WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU JOHN!!

  • How strange that he would sing about parental loss & abandonment not long after HE dumped his own wife & young son. He once stated publicly that his boy Julian "came from a whisky bottle on a Saturday night." Peace and love? Puh-LEEZE! It's one thing to talk the talk, but quite another to walk the walk. Talented, yes, but disgustingly hypocritical for sure. Just sayin'

  • @bionicbigfoot Oh, shut the fuck up. I don't know who you're calling hypocritical, but I know it's not the Lennon I-not excluding everyone else-knows. He was for peace - just by saying he was "disgustingly hypocritical" says that you know nothing about him and you're just judging him on the basis of your short knowledge on him. Um- he took a 5 yr. music break from the industry just to take care of his son- and he went back with Yoko and remained with her. Next time, read a bio before you talk
