best wwe tribute for the best era of wrestling, i was born in 97, and have been watching wrestling since i was 2, WWE IS MY LIFE.... LOL, seriously tho i miss that WWF not this PG crap, i dont have a problem with PG, i have a problem with WWE creative being lazy
Every single guy in that vid could main event today's WWE. Every. Single. One. As the years pass, it gets crazier to wrap the head around just how deep the A list roster really was. GLAD I WAS THERE FOR THE RIDE AWWW HEYYLLLL YEAH!!!! WHAT?
@2001mark thats probably y they r in the video dumbass.. there were a bunch of clowns not worth a shit too back then like spike dudley and shawn stasiak..
This is one of the greatest things I have ever seen. I miss guys like Benoit, Angle, The Dudley Boys, hell, even Matt and Jeff Hardy before they both went nuts. I still love wrestling and always will, but these years were completely untouchable. It makes me sad to think that wrestling will likely never be like this again, I miss it.
I used to run home from school, Mondays, Bitch for the TV, and stay up late just to watch people like Kane, Undertaker, The Rock and Stone Cold do what they do.
Damn it.... I miss the WWF so much. I can't even describe it. This video just embodies everything that I loved about it. All of the wrestlers and all of the quality entertainment and ass kicking moments that they gave us. Why did it have to go?
This video represents the best wwe ha to offer. the best era of wrestling ever. the best superstars ever at one time. will be hard for them to ever get that much talent again.
you know what made it worse, World wildlife fun said that they could use the WWF logo aslong as they never used the letters W.W.F, but there base in switzerland or summit were being bitches even bout that!
I heard a song resembling this and instantly remembered this promo. Incredible! Back in 2001 it was a 90% HOF roster and unmatchable. Personally the best WWE year ever and the best promo vid ever.
F'n awesome 2912katy! One of the best promos ever made during one of the best times to be a fan. Matt and Lita's 1st kiss, the Brothers of Destruction, Rock Bottom to Stone Cold, HHH when he was the man, Y2J as the undisputed champ, Edge (sure miss him) and even, (although a little creepy), Benoit off the top rope. My dad and I were at the Survivor Series match 2001 in Greensboro NC when Jeff did the Swanton off the top of the cage. This video really takes me back. Thanks for keeping it alive.
I never forget this video because it was the signal which was the end of wwe's (wwf's) attitude era, one of my most favorite and most memorable moments growing up as a kid.
I remember this promo, and I remember loving it whenever it played during RAW and Smackdown! This is still the best video I've ever seen put together by the WWF (it was that long ago), and it truly warms my heart seeing this again after all these years. This was my Golden Age of wrestling, and I loved every second of it.
WWF was the best title for the World Wrestling Federation, until the World Wildlife Funding came along and threatened to sue for title infringement, which marked the beginning of the end a powerful & colorful era of pro wrestling: members switched to other unions, attendances falling, leadership changes, revenues lacking, and the ol' glory days of one of a kind of wrestlers with unique character are long gone, only a handful of the best remains, but they too, will wither and fade away, RIP WWF
what an amazing video, thank you! reminds me of an amazing time in my life. when anything was possible and not much mattered. wrestling was a huge part of my life, and its a disgrace to see how it is now. this made me want to cry, just amazing
All the people who remember this from "WWF" Survivor Series 2001. A Complete Explanation of why this business is failing was when McMahon made his speech to the WWF team before the match. If you can find that speech, watch it. Inspirational
i can just see this being show to the crowd of a wwe audiance right before wrestlemania starts....you can just feel the amazement of the world of wrestling, just by watching this video
truly the golden era of wwf-wwe, back when the storylines were awesome, the characters were really sold to us the audience, and you actually look forward to the monologues (or at least i did, some of the best moments)...and those moments that just left you hanging on the edge of your seat even though deep down you know its staged and the outcomes are already foretold...those were the good ole days...

Sad theres no Goldberg in the whole video , because lets be honest , he is one of the legends and I dont know but I didnt see Hulk Hogan too , whose the one and only at wwe , but its good :P
Wow, i'm 13 and I remember these days, yeah I only caught the ending of the Attitude Era but it was awesome. My faviourite memory was Stone Cold flipping Triple H's car with that giant forklift. Those were the days. Nothing compared to this PG era shit.
man seeing the wwe now do not compare to these days when ot was rock stone cold taker kane rvd booker t kurt shane mcmahon and just to see this video makes me wanna to go back in time to waitness this stuff again i wish vince wouuld bring back this attitude
damn i remember this from survivor series 01. before the entire business went to shit. Look at the people there. Real legends like Austin, The Rock, Taker, Triple H... A tag team division that actually mattered. Guys like Jericho and RVD on the mid card. The Intercontinental Title still meaning something. I miss this. I want it back.
I watched this and all most cried when i was young i even told my mom to buy their cd loool and i dont even like rock/pop but the album was really good
Seeing Lita there makes me miss her even more. Such great talent, the WWE Universe didn't know what great of a wrestler they had until she was gone. Honestly I think she should come back so that we can give her a proper retirement...
I remember watching this commercial when I was a little kid.....I miss the good days when I was a kid watching Raw on Monday nights and Smackdown on Thursday nights and actually being entertained....r.i.p wwf
Only 4 of the featured wrestlers are still active with the WWE on a full time basis (HHH, Kane, Taker & Christian). Everybody else are working either elsewhere, retired, commentate, or RIP (benoit & test)
@TehKarmaPolice taker working full time basis? he said he is actually retired nad won't wrestle until WM 28. and HHH hasn't appeared since the night after mania :(
@macerolon same here, I was in elementary school when I saw this tribute and as well as got to relieve every feud that was shown! Long live the Alliance Storyline!
LOL the worst thing about this vid is that WWE is nothing like this at all, its like Im watching a video of a totally different company, wtf happened to WWE? man I dont know what they're going to do when Taker retires, he is to me the last bit of magic left in WWE, from Hulkamania to Attitude era his always been there, going to leave a massive black hole when he is gone, I think I'll quit when he does, I only watch WM these days anyway.
i hate seeing these videos and knowing i wont ever get the amazing feeling when i have to tune in next week to see what happens! WWE today has nothing on the WWF era!
This is probably one of the greatest video editing ever made (all subjects included) from the golden age of wrestling and by the way, me too, it brings me near tears, damn, it was the good time !!
In my opinion all good and actually talented wrestlers have left or died in the WWE these days, the wrestlers now are mostly actors with not neaarly half as much skill as old wrestlers, its more drama and acting now.
oh my god i loved wwf during this time christian with long hair kurt with hair got milk and i know benoit wat he did was wrong but watchinf flying head butt of top of the cage sends chillls

thank you to all wwe unniverse through all the years youve helped me growing up as a person..cause when you are with me im free im careless i believe.TEARS: thanks wwf and wwe
this video describes it all by itself..., the pain, the happiness, the satisfaction, effort. n much more,,, awesome video. long live all d WWE stars... the RAVEN VOLWERINE and the LATINO HEAT will alwaz b rememberrd n v'll b alive alwz in thr fans heartz
this video describes it all by itself..., the pain, the happiness, the satisfaction, effort. n much more,,, awesome video. long live all d WWE stars... the RAVEN VOLWERINE and the LATINO HEAT will alwaz b rememberrd n v'll b alive alwz in thr fans heartz
The storylines used to be so serious! When I was angry, boy was I angry! When I was sad I felt in my core, Don't really kno if kids feel like that today But the wwF was a huge part of my childhood, it helped connect me w/ my siblings, & ppl of all different backgrounds were connected through their favorite superstars! The Attitude era was what I grew up with & I'm fortunate enough that my favorite wrestler was/is the Rock so I can still see him, but there is nothing like the peoples elbow!!!
this bring back memories of the wwf....cause when I was 8 to 9 years old I watch wcw and didn't watch wwf until the attitude area...but know I stop watching wrestling cause every time I watch wwe it sadden me and I hated it. Once Taker retire then WWE will REST IN PEACE
ahhhh imo one of the best times of wwe. the post attitude era. was it officially called the era of "ruthless aggression?" or was that a bit more forward. don't know. imo the best time of the wwe.
@Ari721 Snap! Can't explain it but it always did and just did again when I seen it just now. Think the emotion of the song just goes so perfectly with the visuals, they complment each other perfectly.
cant forget about the divas of the time: trish, lita, sable, jackie, terry, stacy, ivory, original molly holly, the ever changing rotation of the godfather's hoes, chyna, the billion-dollar princess stephanie, kane's tori and tory wilson....their matches were way more watchable than todays wwe so-called divas
From the moment Lita was posing at the entrance way to Triple H limping back to the dressing room, I had goosebumps.

The Rock would tear John Cena apart, and feed the remains to Stone Cold, who would wash it down with a party keg of Steveweisers!

ahhhh imo one of the best times of wwe. the post attitude era. was it officially called the era of "ruthless aggression?" or was that a bit more forward. don't know. imo the best time of the wwe.

Can somebody please tell me how we've gone from Austin, The Rock and the Attitude era to Cena, Orton and PG?
Newton2222 1 year ago
@Newton2222 The fickle pop culture audience stopped watching, leaving the core audience to be kids instead. WWE followed the money.
