There are multiple 9 of hearts cards but they are cut short so when you shuffle threw them by flipping them you can't see the 9 of hearts and when you stop the deck it stops on the 9 of hearts since it goes down with the last card. He got the 9 of hearts in his pants because it was pre placed.
