i met JT earlier this year just before Silverstone round of the WSB. Was speaking to him about this and he said he genuinely thought Tiff was gonna knock him off a couple of times.

Also he is a really nice guy and had plenty of time for the people who come to meet him, signed my BKS leathers and some fellas fairing.

I kind of agree with you. Tiff is a gent, Clarkson is more of an in your face loutish tit. But one thing you do have to understand is that Clarkson is not like that. It is his television visage. An attitude to provide enertainment. He is in fact a very intelligent man, as is Tiff, they just have diffent approaches to entertaining audiences. I like them both. However Clarkson can be a bit annoying after the 3rd Top Gear in a row on Dave.

Whoa there boy. A Brit has not won a GP race since Barry Sheene won in Sweden in ...1981!, let alone a championship. That was Sheene way back in 1977, and I remember it well. he was my hero, as was Ron Haslam. Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE to see JT win a MotoGP Championship, or at least a GP. But he has a lot to prove if he is going to ever do that.

I watched Tiff vs Leon Haslam on tonights 5th Gear. They were supposed to have a rolling start after a sighting lap but Tiff decided he would cheat (his own words) and floored the car either on the sighting lap or the out lap!!! That would obviously give him a good headstart considering Leon would not automatically gun his bike as Tiff took off (thoughts of warming the breaks etc rather than fking off completely). And hey, even cheating (you hollow little turd Tif) Leon whooped yer ass!!!
