Well, when someone like Eric Clapton, stevie ray Vaughn, Iron Maiden, megadeth, metallica, led zeppelin are your standards for what you think is good music and technically gifted musicians....

Suddenly papa roach does not sound so good. They make some neat songs, but they are not very good at playing their instruments. They compose and put cool sounds together....but not to a good enough extent for me to consider them any good.
