I have a Q, I got an anole yesterday, and it was brown (they all were) and it was brown all night, but then when I put the black light on for night it almost instantly hid between two leaves upside down and it slept like that till 10 today, but when I woke up it was all green, but after it left the leaves and went on the darker stick (to get highest to the light) it turned back brown, is this because it's just changing to the suroundings?

thay definetly wer mateing and im probly too late but leave the egy in there halfway bury it and spay the tank wit water 3 times perday and it will take about a month for the egy to hatch and the day it hatches give it baby crickits u can find them at suply stores and she was just takeing it easy tell the egy comes out

@madbadboy13 I do have a heating lamp, which you can see at 1:50. The reason why it is off right now is because it is night time and at night the temperature must be slightly lower.

My mom won't buy real crickets, so we get dead ones. But when we put the calcuim/vitamin powder on the dead crickets, they don't eat them. Is it abesolutly neccisary to put the powder on? Also do anoles eat fruit? What kind?

@Wolfyzheart I use alive ones..........You should buy them because they are healthier for the green anoles or you u can buy meal worms but i think you should buy alive crickets....get a cricket keeper you can buy them at petco (like where i got mine) and get one with the tube. :D Glad if i helped :P

@webkinzluv09 Yeah my mom is afraid of that happening. So I bought mealworms and my anole loves them! He gobbles them down :) So now I just need to get waxworms. I dust the worms with the calcium and he eats them, so hopefully he can live off of those X3 Yeah I would be scared if Crickets got loose too..I mean they jump and crawl on you in your sleep 0.0 lol.

Dude you have to spray them they dont drink from standing water (or at least 99.9 percent of them dont drink from bowls......) yep get a spray bottle and spray daily.....

How much does the UVB light fixture cost. If i already have a heat lamp, can I just get a special UVB bulb to put in it instead of buying a whole other light?

You can get a UVB bulb , but they are expensive (about $50)
