I think I am going to buy this camera, and I was wondering what are your thoughts on this camera, is it digital? And how much are the nessecities? Also, could you take some sample footage of it?

@HorsesRLifee Hey hows it going! It's been about three years since that day, and it's always been a trooper. Unfortunately it's film, BUT, they are very durable, have great features, and these things almost always have lenses and cases included if purchased on ebay!!!!

@staone1 Yea that sounds great! If you can talk him down to maybe 75-100. A1's are nice classic cameras be prepared to use something more manual rather than automatic. Sounds like a good deal though.

0:45 there's something wonky with that shutter sound, you can hear a resonating "ding" afterwards. Maybe some foam has deteriorated. I got an N65 (one model newer) for a song on ebay in similar condition, it's a great amateur film camera.

I'm glad to see he's getting into a great hobby at such a young age. Kudos! I just picked up an N65 with 28-80mm G for $40 on Craigslist. I really just needed the lens, but eh, it was too good to pass up considering that little gem of a lens goes for about 60 bucks used.

Well I'd have to say N65. There virtually the same but the N65 has one extra button on it for easier acess which I think is the times set. I'll do a comparison if you want me to.

It's not the camera that matters, it's the pictures that you take. Also, I think you realize that this is true, that is, that the camera doesn't matter. Also, I don't quite get why your videos are so poorly rated.

I can't wait to see some amazing work from your new camera and I hope you have fun with it! You should go outside one day, with a roll or two of film, and let your eyes do the work, take some amazing pictures. I KNOW that you're capable.
