It's clear that the intent was to create another enron, trading carbon credits.. sound familiar?
@jondoe91941 I hate to break it to you, but you're among a tiny minority with your global warming denialism. The evidence is clear. Ancient ice shelfs do not disappear overnight for nor no reason. And it's sheer idiocy to believe that releasing millions of years worth of stored carbon into the atmosphere is having no effect on the environment. What you are a victim of is your own wishful thinking. Your conscience won't let you believe that your hedonistic lifestyle is destructive to the planet.
HFC isn't killing America, obesity is. HFC is a concentrated sugar and in that respect it makes it easier to consume more calories but at the end of the day excessive calorie consumption leads to obesity and the health problems associated with it. Also sedentary lifestyles.
Corn isn't "healthy" either...it's a manipulated mutated crop whose "nutrients" isn't even absorbed by the human body unless it is processed with Lye first (Something the "White Man" still doesn't do cause they couldn't even understand way back when why the American natives was mixing "ashes from a fire" into their corn gruel)
I belie the initial reaction to Corn in Europe without the Lye processing technology was Scurvy?
ah come on dont freak out its pretty easy to be healthy 1 be active 2 avoid food with trans or saturated fat 3 and dont eat anything that has sugar as one of the top five ingrediants
Sugar is not the issue here. It's the TYPE of sugar that's in the product. HFCS for example, metabolizes more like alcohol than sugar due to its similar chemical makeup. Further, it confuses the body's natural sense of satiation, and has triglyceride compounds linked to diabetes. Natural sugar or cane sugar....well, not so much.
(Reuters) - "Pancreatic tumor cells use fructose to divide and proliferate, U.S. researchers said on Monday in a study that challenges the common wisdom that all sugars are the same"
"They said their finding, published in the journal Cancer Research, may help explain other studies that have linked fructose intake with pancreatic cancer, one of the deadliest cancer types."
@DayNardd Regardless of the vitamins and fibre (not to mention flavanoids), the fructose in apples is not as bad. Fructose is naturally bound to glucose molecules. This means that the body has to separate them before utilizing either. The glucose is then carried straight to muscle glycogen stores (mostly). This means less fructose and more metabolic activity. The fructose in HFCS is unbound, meaning that the glucose molecule is absent. This means less metabolic activity and more total fructose.

Wow, little children given political views by college douche bags writing their scripts. This totally changes my view on the subject matter, now I want the corpse pile of idiots in the 200-300 foot range instead of just 10.
@CodeguruX is "youre a fuck up" really the best you can come up with?
First off-your statement is Class A ad hominem fallacy. Who is saying what is being said about HFCs is completely worthless debating. If a compulsive liar said 2+2 is 4, its still 4. If College Douchelords said HFCs are detrimental to our health, the fact remains.
Second off... wtf are you talking about corpse piles and idiots. You're the idiot corpse drinking down your HFC garbage hi5ing CRA w. your fat hooves. DIACF.
Any of you who think that the CRA aren't trying to manipulate you just like the tobacco industry are FOOLS!!! HFCS is synthetic!! Show me one place it's found in nature, I dare you. And the idiot who said that it's the same as honey is just that. Fine in moderation?? HA! HFCS is toxic and unfortunately found in almost EVERYTHING! I hope those of you who can't see the forest for the trees will wake up and educate yourselves and your children. They're the ones paying the biggest price.
1) Whats wrong with synthetics? All-natural doesnt necessarily mean safe, nature produces plenty of toxic chemicals; its not the procedural origin of a chemical that makes it dangerous its the structure of the molecule and the way that structure interacts with the body.
2) In a high enough dose everything is toxic. Moderation is a relative term; do you know how much HFCS is considered to be within moderation?
3) Education isnt self-righteous soap-boxery or assumption on ambiguity.
Love how they got the kids to know what is up<3 They are really the most important ones that need to be taught the truth of HFCS and how horrible it is for them!
@CodeguruX Also, please work a little harder to make a valid argument, instead of using cuss words like a 3 year old.
ex. "High fructose corn syrup is composed of ground corn, processed using mercury grinders. This increases the risk of mercury poisoning, and attributing to the obesity and autism epidemics."
Great rebute to the HFCS corporatados! There's nothing like corporate propaganda and spin, spin, spin! This is a great spoof! and Informative as well. Well done, bravo!
HFCS and ANY FAKE FOODS... are going to give humans issues in there health... along with the drinking water and also the air... there is no running from global control and chemical foods... we are becoming HYDROPONIC humans...
@NRen2k5 Well I'm not surprised that Canada is being dumb down like us. Nature = Sweet = Sugar = Honey NOT Hi-Fructose Corn Syrup = Mercury .. I have no problem with anyone eating or drinking this Poison but I am just letting you know that I think natural is the way to go. That is it.
@todzilla73 Dumbed down? What the heck man, when you're making a point, can you at least not OPEN with an insult?
HFCS is not poison. Mercury is, sure, but not all HFCS contains it. Mercury can get into it if the chemicals used to prepare it were themselves made with mercury, which they don't necessarily have to be.
"Natural is the way to go"? Sorry if you're going to take offence to this, but that's ridiculous. There are plenty of horribly toxic things that are 100% natural.
wow you guys are losers. fightin over the internet. fuckin sweet. lol :p just calm your hormones and watch some more high-fructose corn syrup ads. okay?
HFCS acts in the body like booze does. It's terrible on the liver and has no redeeming nutritional benefits other than it is cheaper than cane sugar. Your TAX dollars support the whole corn industry by the way. Say what you want HFCS should be avoided if you care about your health!
This is as entertaining as I expect any liberal to be. Congratulations on lecturing me to boredom. I'm going to go eat a big bottle of HFCS and kill myself. BECAUSE I'M BORED.
@todzilla73 I agree. It does. But, the Rockefellers elitist stuff has got to stop. Pick up a history book or better yet, meet their family and have a talk with them.
I would love to meet the Rockerfellers. It is his goal to have everyone Chipped. Watch the first video on my list and then watch the second video and I would love to hear your comments.
You now have the choice but it will not be long before they say take the chip or go to a fema-camp. Look up George Joseph Laurer in wikipedia....by the way I am trying to be friendly and offer some good advice. God bless...
Only some HFCS has mercury in it, and even so, it's so little that it's harmless. If you're going to be afraid of it on that basis, then you should also be mortified of apples and almonds, which contain cyanide.
mercury stays in you a lot longer then cyanide. Mercury doesn't HAVE to be in HFCS it's something that makes it cheaper not safer. So it's not NEEDED in the process.
Still, the body eliminates mercury on its own, and the amount of mercury in HFCS is extremely small. So small that even now that we know it's there, it's not a concern like it is with some fish.
And mercury isn't intentionally added to HFCS as it seems you're getting at. It unintentionally leeches into HFCS in one part of some HFCS production processes.
right.... i understand how the mercury gets in there. Mercury is used because it helps an expensive enzyme keep longer in the 3rd stage of HFCS process.
Look , I can see your trying to impress me with your semantics as to how the mercury gets IN to the HFCS. It's not added to HFCS it gets in there through the METHOD of making it. I understand they don't put it in there intentionally. THE POINT IS IT MAKES IT IN THERE! MERCURY finds it's way into HFCS (some HFCS) because it is being done through an older method. Mercury finds its way into the process not because it's the only way to make it..... but a cheap way to make it. Eat up.
Yes I would only ask your reasons for commenting on this kind of video at all? What are you motivations? To win debate points of the concern for other people on a topic that could pose health risks. Why are you here?
My motivation is correcting misinformation and trying to get people to actually think about what they're eating rather than just believe what conspiracy theorists and alties want them to.
My motivation is caring about others and examining products that can be harmful to them. So your motivations are so strong that you have read how many pages on the science of HFCS approximately ? What background do you have to make such strong opinions. Ones that alter other peoples behavior? You see the consequence of listening to me is 0 negative effect. (except for 4-5 HFCS plants) If people listen to u what? 0 effect from mercury? no harmful effects or just "acceptable"?
Oh, I'm sorry, you're shifting the burden of proof to me? Are you out of your little fucking mind? You have yourself and handful of alt-med freaks, new-age ideologues and fucking street bums. I have the full weight of modern science behind me. Go fuck yourself!!
notice you didn't answer any of the relevant information that would make your argument more credible. You didn't acknowledge my question on mercury.Didn't answer a simple question about what information lead you to the conclusion HFCS is safe. Nor could you approximate how much information that was in pages. Full weight of modern science should be able to present a better argument then you have been capable so far. I can see you care A LOT about people.Burden of proof on u no, but show proof.
Again.. notice no facts make their way into your argument. Do you work for a HFCS or are you here to stroke your ego through debate? I'm here because I have concern for my fellow man.. You are here why again?
For the same reason as you. I care for my fellow man, and don't appreciate people like you fearmongering and bullshitting them.
I have the sneaking suspicion you're not being entirely honest with us. Come clean - you're involved in the organic food or alternative health industry, aren't you?
No I am not with any industry. If that were even true. Speaking out against HFCS would still not benefit that industry, maybe if I was with the sugar industry? Fear mongering? No we are having a discussion. I asked you to back up your claims. The only thing you have done is play debate games. Providing no "full weight of science" information you have said to have. You care about your fellow man to promote high fructose corn syrup? lol. Where's the information u have again? the science?
Speaking out against HFCS would definitely benefit the organic industry. I'm asking you to back up your claims that HFCS is more harmful than other sugars and that that mercury contamination is actually severe enough to be any concern.
I'm not promoting HFCS, I'm opposing the fearmongering against it.
You continue to point and shriek at numbers but refuse to actually prove they mean what you want them to. That's not a whole hell of a lot better than my accused lack of information.
and do you correct that mis information with. INFORMATION. or do you just keep repeating "it's safe, it's safe" and that's the extent of your argument. How much information have you read on this subject again? That lets you "correct" people? supply that please.
notice you completely dodge my own question again? How much information have you read on this subject again? That lets you "correct" people? supply that please? That lets you CORRECT. To correct someone that means you have to have COUNTER information. What is that information? unless you have just resorted to answering questions with questions and name calling.

This is nothing but trash.
And I will bet a million bucks this comment will have to be approved first. Typical fucking liberals censoring and ridiculing every opinion but their own.
Anyway, I've been using Corn Syrup on my pancakes ever since I was a kid. I'm now 6'5" and 180 Lb. I'm not exactly obese.
I also ate McDonald's for days and days on end because my mom would work during the day and my dad worked nights.
So stop forcing your disgusting propaganda upon impressionable kids.
@TheDudeYouHateToMeet so your saying that since it didn't affect you that proves something? Wow that sounds scientific.. lol. Did you have a twin brother that didn't eat HFCS to compare yourself to? Typical conservative who thinks his/her own life experience sums up and proves wide scale issues.
maybe it was genetics... maybe it was that you ate a lot while going through puberty.... but your life experience isn't a study on high fructose corn syrup. What information do you have that it's safe? then you match it against the claims of it being bad. Why wouldn't you want to examine a potentially harmfull product?
You don't have any proof that HFCS is any worse than any other similar sweetener out there, and the rational thing to assume by default is that it isn't. The burden of proof is on you, not him.
Which studies, articles or material PERIOD have you come across to make your view that the science shaky? It's marketed as a natural ingredient when it couldn't be farther from the truth. Need 3 steps and 3 different kinds of enzymes to turn that corn into glucose and fructose. I actually care about others enough to raise concern. Your motivations are for what then?
Eat all of the HFCS you want. All though it says in TV commercial that is fine moderation. Eat aspertame too, it is only legal in the USA. Take you H1N1 shot and be ready for the RFID-Chip. If people like yourself waht to be so stupid then go ahead and do it. It is a shame though because alot of people like yourself have kids to grow up with this mess.
@todzilla73 Oh wow, you called me a sheep! I give up, sir, you win! Clearly I'm just some kind of a mindless follower because I don't follow your stupid alt-med conspiracy bull!
I took the H1N1 shot last fall. I didn't even know there was going to be any push to take it this year. But I'm curious to know why the fuck you think somebody would be an idiot for taking a simple vaccine....
@NRen2k5 Watch this and then look up all the people that have died from the vaccine and realize that it doesn't effect some people for up to ten years. /watch?v=QG5pj_TWJ6o
@todzilla73 There must be some kind of mistake - the video you linked there is an unconfirmed news piece.
As for the people who have died from the vaccine, that's a known risk, and much, MUCH less people will die from the vaccine than from the disease itself. It's called a calculated risk.
@NRen2k5 actually what are the numbers on that? Not many people have died from the actual disease h1n1, but millions have taken the vaccine...... Did you know that by the time they are able to put a vaccine on the shelf (testing period, manufacture, sale, and transport) it's already outdated. Your buying immunity for last years flu. So with lack of h1n1 shots the impoverished areas with high population density should be crawling with h1n1? The same with regular flu
@todzilla73 Like I already said, it's a calculated risk. Which would you rather have: A few people being harmed by the vaccine, or a few million being killed by the disease?
And really, 1979? Back then, computers had 640k of memory, cars had carburetors, the cell phone, digital camera and MP3 were completely unheard of... AIDS was unheard of! And you don't think that maybe the science behind vaccines has advanced even just a little in that time?
@NRen2k5 Actually, the science is almost exactly the same if you were interested. All vaccinations work by introducing a foreign antigen into the body to induce an immune reaction. The strategy for accomplishing this may vary, but the intended result is roughly the same.

In moderate amounts yes. It naturally occurs in all kinds of foods.
HFCS however is NOT natural any more than aspartame is natural.
Incidentally, we discovered a cereal that does NOT have hfcs in it.
It's called 'Mom's Best Naturals'.
We stopped buying Kelloggs and the rest of the junk cereal.

After the leaked info about scientists manipulating the data to keep the funding coming, and Gore being the head of the Carbon tax and trade company in the U.S. What does it take for you to actually do some research and stop listening to these "sky is falling" people.. It's clear that the intent was to create another enron, trading carbon credits.. sound familiar?
jondoe91941 11 months ago

Sugar is not the issue here. It's the TYPE of sugar that's in the product. HFCS for example, metabolizes more like alcohol than sugar due to its similar chemical makeup. Further, it confuses the body's natural sense of satiation, and has triglyceride compounds linked to diabetes. Natural sugar or cane sugar....well, not so much.

@DayNardd Fructose is the naturally occurring sugar in fruits.
master777999 11 months ago
@DayNardd You're wrong. You're comfusing natural fructuse found in fruits with High Fructose Corn Syrup, which has been modified.
BeastifiedCodFather 9 months ago
@DayNardd Regardless of the vitamins and fibre (not to mention flavanoids), the fructose in apples is not as bad. Fructose is naturally bound to glucose molecules. This means that the body has to separate them before utilizing either. The glucose is then carried straight to muscle glycogen stores (mostly). This means less fructose and more metabolic activity. The fructose in HFCS is unbound, meaning that the glucose molecule is absent. This means less metabolic activity and more total fructose.

Wargoat6 1 year ago
@cular1
3) Education isnt self-righteous soap-boxery or assumption on ambiguity.

todzilla73 1 year ago
@todzilla73 Dumbed down? What the heck man, when you're making a point, can you at least not OPEN with an insult?
HFCS is not poison. Mercury is, sure, but not all HFCS contains it. Mercury can get into it if the chemicals used to prepare it were themselves made with mercury, which they don't necessarily have to be.
"Natural is the way to go"? Sorry if you're going to take offence to this, but that's ridiculous. There are plenty of horribly toxic things that are 100% natural.

Only some HFCS has mercury in it, and even so, it's so little that it's harmless. If you're going to be afraid of it on that basis, then you should also be mortified of apples and almonds, which contain cyanide.
NRen2k5 1 year ago
mercury stays in you a lot longer then cyanide. Mercury doesn't HAVE to be in HFCS it's something that makes it cheaper not safer. So it's not NEEDED in the process.
Bigbird5553 1 year ago
Still, the body eliminates mercury on its own, and the amount of mercury in HFCS is extremely small. So small that even now that we know it's there, it's not a concern like it is with some fish.
And mercury isn't intentionally added to HFCS as it seems you're getting at. It unintentionally leeches into HFCS in one part of some HFCS production processes.
NRen2k5 1 year ago
right.... i understand how the mercury gets in there. Mercury is used because it helps an expensive enzyme keep longer in the 3rd stage of HFCS process.
Bigbird5553 1 year ago
Wrong.
The chemicals they used to maintain a healthy pH balance turned out to be sometimes contaminated with mercury. Mercury is NOT used in makins HFCS.
(See Washington Post article "Study Finds High-Fructose Corn Syrup Contains Mercury" From January 2009.)
NRen2k5 1 year ago
Look , I can see your trying to impress me with your semantics as to how the mercury gets IN to the HFCS. It's not added to HFCS it gets in there through the METHOD of making it. I understand they don't put it in there intentionally. THE POINT IS IT MAKES IT IN THERE! MERCURY finds it's way into HFCS (some HFCS) because it is being done through an older method. Mercury finds its way into the process not because it's the only way to make it..... but a cheap way to make it. Eat up.
Bigbird5553 1 year ago
It's not semantics, it's being reasonable.
Now that I've caught you being petty, you're just getting even more petty.
Is there even any reason to continue this discussion?
NRen2k5 1 year ago
Yes I would only ask your reasons for commenting on this kind of video at all? What are you motivations? To win debate points of the concern for other people on a topic that could pose health risks. Why are you here?
Bigbird5553 1 year ago
My motivation is correcting misinformation and trying to get people to actually think about what they're eating rather than just believe what conspiracy theorists and alties want them to.
What is yours?
NRen2k5 1 year ago
My motivation is caring about others and examining products that can be harmful to them. So your motivations are so strong that you have read how many pages on the science of HFCS approximately ? What background do you have to make such strong opinions. Ones that alter other peoples behavior? You see the consequence of listening to me is 0 negative effect. (except for 4-5 HFCS plants) If people listen to u what? 0 effect from mercury? no harmful effects or just "acceptable"?
Bigbird5553 1 year ago
Oh, I'm sorry, you're shifting the burden of proof to me? Are you out of your little fucking mind? You have yourself and handful of alt-med freaks, new-age ideologues and fucking street bums. I have the full weight of modern science behind me. Go fuck yourself!!
NRen2k5 1 year ago
notice you didn't answer any of the relevant information that would make your argument more credible.
Bigbird5553 1 year ago
You're just being an asshole now.
NRen2k5 1 year ago
Again.. notice no facts make their way into your argument. Do you work for a HFCS or are you here to stroke your ego through debate? I'm here because I have concern for my fellow man.. You are here why again?
Bigbird5553 1 year ago
For the same reason as you. I care for my fellow man, and don't appreciate people like you fearmongering and bullshitting them.
I have the sneaking suspicion you're not being entirely honest with us. Come clean - you're involved in the organic food or alternative health industry, aren't you?
NRen2k5 1 year ago
No I am not with any industry. If that were even true. Speaking out against HFCS would still not benefit that industry, maybe if I was with the sugar industry? Fear mongering? No we are having a discussion. I asked you to back up your claims. The only thing you have done is play debate games. Providing no "full weight of science" information you have said to have. You care about your fellow man to promote high fructose corn syrup? lol. Where's the information u have again? the science?
Bigbird5553 1 year ago
Speaking out against HFCS would definitely benefit the organic industry. I'm asking you to back up your claims that HFCS is more harmful than other sugars and that that mercury contamination is actually severe enough to be any concern.
I'm not promoting HFCS, I'm opposing the fearmongering against it.
You continue to point and shriek at numbers but refuse to actually prove they mean what you want them to. That's not a whole hell of a lot better than my accused lack of information.

@todzilla73 There must be some kind of mistake - the video you linked there is an unconfirmed news piece.
As for the people who have died from the vaccine, that's a known risk, and much, MUCH less people will die from the vaccine than from the disease itself. It's called a calculated risk.
NRen2k5 1 year ago
@NRen2k5 actually what are the numbers on that? Not many people have died from the actual disease h1n1, but millions have taken the vaccine...... Did you know that by the time they are able to put a vaccine on the shelf (testing period, manufacture, sale, and transport) it's already outdated. Your buying immunity for last years flu. So with lack of h1n1 shots the impoverished areas with high population density should be crawling with h1n1? The same with regular flu

todzilla73 1 year ago
@todzilla73 Like I already said, it's a calculated risk. Which would you rather have: A few people being harmed by the vaccine, or a few million being killed by the disease?
And really, 1979? Back then, computers had 640k of memory, cars had carburetors, the cell phone, digital camera and MP3 were completely unheard of... AIDS was unheard of! And you don't think that maybe the science behind vaccines has advanced even just a little in that time?
NRen2k5 1 year ago
@NRen2k5 Actually, the science is almost exactly the same if you were interested. All vaccinations work by introducing a foreign antigen into the body to induce an immune reaction. The strategy for accomplishing this may vary, but the intended result is roughly the same.
