yeaa this truck is my buddys and he has 18,000 miles on it and no haha sadly its still doing 8-10 mpg. yes the tree was clearly cut but the people who cut it found a spike in the stump so they and they tryed to pull it out with a 07 cummins and it couldnt do it. sorry people its a true fact i watched them try and fail. not saying the cummins are bad they are fucking bad ass i love them i always have
My dad has the 08 450 .. not the king ranch but loaded. How you like the fuel mileage..haha.. i have to laugh cause my dad is hating it. he pulls his travel trailer with it and gets about 6-7 mpg, and without pulling 9-12 ,, they say after 15,000 miles the computer will reset and get better gas mileage but i think that is a crock of CHIT. yes i said Chit. Have you hit 15,000 miles yet, keep in touch and let me know. thanks James
I know, it sounds just awful, but I still love the new look. I have a 7.3L that gets in around 15-18 MPG normal driving. I just can't believe that 2 generations newer, they're getting worse mileage out of the engines. Even the 6.0L was pretty bad. Sweet video!!!
cummins couldn't even pull that stump, even if it tried. You must understand that this is the new Ford 2008 Ford F-450, and if you hook up a cummins to this truck, the cummins will lose badly, without the Ford even trying.
yea youre too busy putting the truck back together to even come near a tree much less cut one down...the engine is great but the rest of the truck ruins it...BUILT FORD TOUGH

Emissions equipment is what kills the mileage in the newer trucks. Pull the DPF and cat and mileage goes way up, and so does power.
