Maybe they don't deserve that and that's why they felt uncomfortable to accept it : -)

Well can't blame anyone. The government is probably busy :) and the Dalai Lama said that he was not disappointed that there were no swiss government officials..

terrible i'm very ashamed of my goverment at least one of the seven "Bundesräte" could of lifted his ass and welcomed the dalai lama if he were some chinesse politician they would have welcomed him.

me too very shame for swiss govt for not welcoming him, anyway majority educated people in this world are respecting this man of peace HH Dalai Lama. Wakeup wakeup UNO, Not only Tibet, China occupied the world.
