I don't tend to use 3 rock tengus very often, they usually come out because my timing at slapping an EX version is off lol. But I do use it occasionally after a knockdown or back throw into a corner. Problem is that most people i've played end up find a gap between my LKs and uppercut their way out. I love dirty's quick dashing though, I gotta pick that up
ex tengu stone gives juggling ability just like yuns genei jin.
also if you reset the person in midair with something like a crouching fierce, you can cancel into ex tengu, throw out 1 standing jab and go right into fierce kicks if you are in the corner.
if you are anywhere other than the corner, ex tengu sweep or forward + strong is a good way to set up/continue the juggle till you reach the corner.
The most reliable non-corner Tengu Stone juggle would be standing forward, jumping roundhouse, standing forward and repeat. Forward strong can work, but the recovery's a lot slower and the hit zone is smaller.
standing forward may be fast and has decent priority but it provides zero room for mix up considering it can be blocked standing or crouching. using the universal overhead or a sweep into roundhouses provides way more mixup and a lot more stun. i really dont like wasting tengu hits on standing forward. there are better options.
Every Oro in the universe, apparently except you, confirms 5 stone tengu before activation. That way you don't use a meter then lose half your time to a reversal knockdown. Why would you need to mix up if you're already comboing them?
haha, my response is 3 months late, but the kicks in the air are affected by the angle oro connects at. If you notice, dirty makes the first kick while he's still rising (very beginning of the jump) That way, oro continues to go upward. If you're coming downward and try it, you usually only get maybe 3 or so, unless there's a way to mash the buttons. Timing's tough.
3 stone tengu can do insane damage in the corner even if they are blocking.
its great for when you need damage done but you dont have the opportunity to set up a standing strong juggle for the ex tengu. also great to do after a reverse throw.
I know that. But I'm not much good enough with the block strings yet. Ken spamming shoryuken motion after blocking a few hits could reasonably knock me down every now and again, even if I still hit him out of it.
Anyone who thinks that Yun with Genei Jin isn't the best character in 3s is a moron. Half the bar of Tengu Stone, and Yun has overheads, low blows, AND throws that chain into at least half-health combos that leave you with most of the bar refilled.
Daigo vs Dirty please

I never use 3 stone tengu unless my opponent has bad reversals (Alex, Makoto, Q, etc.). For me, doing it on a Ken would be tempting fate.
But I'm sure dirty♪ knows what he's doing.

try using lots of LK with 3 stone tengu. it comes out SUPER fast and if the stones hit you can combo into standing forward command grab.

With SA3 oro is the strongest char, in 3rd strike.

glad to see the best oro player isnt just about juggling 2 death
he actually used coordination rather than just exploit oro's juggling ability

Dood the timing on Oro's juggle combo is really tricky, I have yet to master it...

Yeah it is. I've decided Oro is simply a difficult character to use
