nah mate wasnt the impreza, if ye watch it on a bigger screen youl see him get cut up by the clio nd then the fanny in the corsa tries to pass him through the chicane like a tit and causes it. your only meant to pass on the main straight, between the chicane and clarks and the back straight. thats the rules.

Too fast for the corner, check when I put that comment up at 6AM after an all nighter. And people do put the breaks on to try and stop skidding the wheels out, besides the one driving the nova shouldn't of been tail gating and shouldn't of been up their ass on the corner.
@sorryunlucky was me driving the nova ya donkey and thats the first av heard of someone using breaks to stop oversteer, locking your front wheels while trying to steer will cause oversteer and i've went through that chicance alot quicker before with no troubles and should the corsa have been tail gaiting the subaru or tryin to get past the subaru through the chicane?
unlucky mate, all 3 cars look like writeoffs, that corsa wouldnt pull out well at the back if the axle mounts where twisted even slightly. where the chassis legs bad on the nova? also, any engine damage or did it escape?
@nova4dr pitty, id say you can still pick up a mint saloon shell for good money yet! after all it was all 90 yr olds buying them, and that means an awfull lot where garaged!
having seen first hand the way the clio and corsa drive i'm not surprised the crash happened . a waste of two quick cars by stupid driving. wish knockhill would get their finger out their ass and sort out theses muppets
it wasnt the corsa's fault, it was the silver car in front going much slower and pulling onto the corsas line, meaning the corsa had to break that hard!!
having said that up until the crash it seems most of the people out there thought it was a race and not a trackday, getting silly close to each other, was bound to be a crash
wasnt the subaru mate, was his 1st trackday. the clio undertook the subaru right at the chicane nd the subaru had no where to go pushed him off his line n then the corsa locked his brakes on instead of just goin off or driving round him. you dont see it that well unless you watch it on a big tv screen

Watch it carefully the Corsa slams it's brakes on to stop over steer and the car behind slammed on the brakes and the Nova was going too fast.

corsa staying on the brakes too long, thats the last place you want to be stopping!
unfortunate, the whole incident could have been avoided was similar to a friends 205 roll at chicane earlier this year
