i wish i knew armenian. My mom is from an armenian descent. But my dad is american. So i look american but im proud to say that i have some armenian blood in me. Also my great grandmother is a surviver in the armenian genocide. I love how this band is not only a supporter a recognize this atrocity, but to recognize the atrocity's that are happening in other countries. For people who don't know what it's about. The song is called Sardarapat and it's tribute to the Battle of Sardarapat (Armenian last stand) where Armenians finally stopped the Turkish advances into Armenia thus preventing the complete destruction of the Armenian nation. Everywhere in the country thousands upon thousands churches where ringing bells for 6 days calling everyone to the front. Armenians from all walks of life peasants, poets, blacksmith, and even priests took part in this battle.

When he was younger, he lived in Lebanon, which is North Africa.

So, he's definitely Asian if you want a broad view, but Armenia is near Russia, which is why he is lighter skinned.
