  • idiot.... no one is more nasal than barbara streisand. she madea career on it!!

as if you could critique this girl she is amazing. better than any dweeb who comments on videos on you tube. yes and that includes me!

  • simply amazing! :)

  • ONLY REGINE VELASQUEZ CAN DO THAT!!! =D

  • great voice-cant hold the long notes but someone get this girl a show or album-of original material-i dont understand why people think they can imitate Barbra-no one will EVER hold a candle..............but she is a great singer -just dont build a career on Streisand songs...........

  • @barbras42: she just giving tribute to barbra.. shes her idol.. i believe.. this lady is the best of all the best... she has her original songs.. she is a recording artist.. actress and a host... she has work with michel legrand, composer of most of the songs in movie yentil... i know you know him.. try to search on songbird sings legrand.. peace...

  • yes she used nasal coz its broadway .... its not classical or ballad thats being versatile she can place her voice in any kind of music

  • AWESOME!

  • galing.....very different frm Barbaras version.....

  • what an idiot opinion! LOL!!!

  • She's brave to take on Streisand's song but she fails miserably.

  • @djohnnyf fail to whose standards? yours? nuh, never mind.. it doesn't matter anyway..

  • @chipie1187 : very well said haha...

  • she is so perfect!!! SONGBIRD RULES!!!

  • sounds a bit nasal but her ending was superb.. wow..

  • she kicks ass.

  • @donmaster1205 : what do you know about justice if you yourself do not know the meaning of it, basing on how you commented. @soupyhater : your name justifies your persona haha...

  • @mrxlose hello, please do watch the other interpretations, the souls of the song is seen,,,, regine velasquez is a good singer, that is a big yes,,, but to this, i am not well convince on her emotion..... i am her fan, indeed, but on my opinion, she has to put more soul with this song.... please do listen to it carefully.... like the last note though, but the rest, i am sorry to say, its a no...

  • @donmaster1205 : i definitely did watch her full interpretations of the song. firstly, what do you mean exactly when you say "soul"?secondly, regine did her very best to give justice to the song that even maestro legrand recognized and applauded it. i firmly believe she had given a sound justice to the song. and lastly, the hell i care if you're a fan or not! what matters to me is your arrogance in giving comment--as if you're a great artist! LOL!!!

  • @donmaster1205 : (i also did watch other artists' interpretations) and i cud say, indeed you are arrogant! all of them give justice to song though they differ in expressing it. again all of them! that aboslutely include regine velasquez!

  • @mrxlose regine's voice is powerful and great... there is this what they say "singing bukaka" an expression i heard back there in the phil. choir masters when your mouth is not properly open when singing a particular song. regine sung this before she had a duet with Maestro Legrand... the way she did the duet was different from this interpretation, if i have hurt your feelings, i am sorry for being an avid fan of ms velasquez... i do admire her but not much to this song... i am sorry...

  • @donmaster1205 : then you must always watch your words. the "singing bukaka" expression you are talking about is definitely can not be refferd to regine, can you name a choir master or two who would connect (or connected) that expression to regine?well given, to other artists may be but just what i have said "NO NO to regine". In addtion, my being avid fan has nothing to do with my arguments.

  • anyways, my apology also if i were too aggressive, but never did i regret the words i had used.

  • @soupyhater

it's not awful, it's amazing instead.....even barbara can't sing that song like what regine did.....

  • she hit the notes... maybe even done it even octave higher but it the from the beginning to the almost end, she really sung so awfully... i love her though, but she really did not give justice to the song....

  • Comment removed

  • @donmaster1205

that's your opinion, but how would that supposed to be sung? smiling and laughing?

  • @kennethcruise25 no offense sir, but neither,,,, a song should be treated as if its a persona... you have to study teh emotion of the writer and the character to be able to sing it the way it should be.... but i give credit to regine that she was able to top a note higher than the original. but the whole interpretation was not convincing enough... try to view other versions of the song, they may not be able to reach note the way regine did, but the soul and the whole interpretation is alive

  • what a voice its really a gift from heaven, the only voice in the world

  • Regine deserves all the respect. She undeniably has a great influence in the Philippine music industry.

  • amazing vocal power!

  • people type in piece of sky barbra streisand yentl .... this is garbage in front of that voice.

  • super high...higher then high

  • thATS JUST AMAZING LUNG POWER..NEVER HEARD SOMEONE SING LIKE THAT BEFORE EXCEPT NOW

  • The best singer in the world! Unbeatable high notes in chest voice! Amazing singer! I love you Regine!
