Manga studio is BEAST for black and white inking. There's also speech bubbles and thought bubbles and paneling built in. I have the $50 debut version and its awesome. I just draw everything in that and use its export to photoshop option to color in photoshop. If you haven't tried it I would definitely recommend it at least the 30 day trial :D
hey Neil just want to ask you a quick question. When you start Illustator you usually have some brushes to pick from. At some point those brushes disappeared and I have to manually add new calligraphic brush. Even when I add it if I open a new document or some other file, the brush is not there and I have to make it again. Do you know what can cause this effect?
@silvershine699 The same thing happens to me. I believe you can save your brushes, as you do in Photoshop, and then you can load them whenever you want.
great video. ive never really understood illustrator. ive only touched it a few times on other computers, but i would love to see a short video of the basics
Big help mate. Brilliant.

instead of image>adjustments>levels you can go to image>adjustments>exposure
it works a lot better and it has more options
i can't really explain it but go there and try just scrolling left and right all the three meters
you'll really get what i mean :)

Sai actually has a whole setup for vector layers, which enables a whole different set of tools. Very useful for inking.

As long as the videos aren't "how to draw a circle" then keep em coming OwO
I really like how you teach it so well. You have increased my skill 10x over.
