I really don't like this cover, NES songs shouldn't ever be made into metal, they just sound way too cheesy. Also the double kick going into overdrive is a nice thought but it doesn't really fit. Sorry buddy.

@frump Gonna have to disagree with you, friend. There are plenty of good composers out there that make excellent metal covers of our childhood pastimes. Chris Kline comes to mind with his Double Dragon and Contra covers.

That was one of the worst things I've ever heard, more cheesy loser metal. All these metal nerds doing covers of NES songs are completely missing the point. I'm waiting for the day when someone does a cover at 240bpm+ with an original arrangment and real instruments (that means drums, learn how to blast all you bedroom guitar shredders).

I like the quick pace, some other bands go a little slower. However, the sound levels aren't right. The bass severely drowns out everything else, and like someone said, does sound a bit muddy. Aside from that, best damn cover i've heard.
