  • Thanks!!!!

  • this was lovely !!!! thanks you so much

  • waoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow

  • OMG this is the only way I could actually make a french twist!!! thank you SOOO very much :)

  • very helpful thankyou!!

  • This is NOT a true French twist, and if you can't even keep it up long enough to take your hands away from it, it is useless.

  • @calexander007 I have done my hair similiarly to how she did it, and basically, you use a lot of pins. I do mine tighter, though.

  • No.. that's medium length hair gosh darnit.

  • Long hair????

  • I like the zoom in to the photo at the end.

  • haha

  • I'm sorry I don't know how long it was in inch but it was around my bra level...

  • Comment removed

  • mine is waist length and i have to tie french twist everytime i go to work..i'll re[ply to you in video one day :)

  • @emeraldgal28 please do :L that'd be useful.

  • @emeraldgal28

    please do!! :) x

  • I dram your hari and hair style

  • Her hair's not particularly long hair, but it shows you how to do it. If you have longer hair that's sticking out of the bottom and you have a problem with this, fold it up again! problem solved! I've been looking for some good instructions for this style for days. Thankyou very much, and you have beautiful healthy looking hair :)

  • i can kinda do that but wat happens is from the front of my head all the hair goes up, kinda thing so i duno,it goes messy :S

  • love it. reminds me of the ladies in the early l900's, so feminine. and then their hats would sit right on top of their heads and that wonderful poof of hair was just below. thanks for showing us how to do that, so easy. try it with a hairzing instead of a barrette.

  • My hair is a bit longer than that. Probably by a couple inches. But I tried this style with the last couple inches poking out and it turned out pretty cute.

Plus, it only took a couple minutes to learn what would look best with my length.

I wouldn't even need to learn how to do a style like this if I didn't get roped into buying a barette thing that's used specifically for french twists.. haha. Now I HAVE to do my hair!

Overall, very nice video. Informative, too. :]

  • wow, that's so easy to do! thanks. it looks really elegant and classy, too. i always wondered how to do this. :) keep it up.

  • Thank you all for your nice comments :)

  • Yeesh, only on the 'Net can someone post a HELPFUL video and come under attack for it! Sigh.

I personally got a lot out of this video, so thank you so much for trying it! I have some cute barrettes coming in my mail this week, and I never even considered using on this way. I'll give it a go. :)

  • That should read: Thank you so much for *posting it.

Guess I was too filled with wrath to type properly. -_- Anyways, thank you very much for this!

  • Thank you so much kunibob2. I hope you'll have a little video or a photo with your new barrettes :)

  • Hrm, either my browser is messing up and I've just spammed your wall three times, or something's not working for me and none of the comments have posted...trying to post a link to the picture I took after trying this style today. Got pretty close on the first try, and my boyfriend loves the style, which is always a perk when something's easy to do. ;) Thanks again for posting this!

  • Thanks for sharing! I was looking for something quick and simple.

  • thank was great, ive got my hair like that now but the top hald of my hed hair is a bit like barrels :P great video i will try this one day

  • hi ..i tried it on my hair ..which is long and thick after a few tries ..it came out well thanks a ton!!!

  • It took me a few tries, but it worked! I have super long hair, and i found it harder to do. Plus my hair is super thick, so I used a clip rather than a barrette.

  • Finally somebody really try instead of saying it sucks :) I know it's not easy for every hair type but I did this style to different people's hair. Just need more practice for thegood results.

Thank you for trying and your nice comment.

  • sorry but that sucked

  • wow that was so fast

  • omg how fast was that!

  • 1 word. Wow

  • BRILLIANT!! ive been trying to find a new hairstyle i watched that a few times and tried it on my hair which is rather long and i love it, thank you ;]

  • I'd consider that long hair, my hair is shorter than that now when it used to be just below my elbows, but it was really unmanagable, I may let it grow again some day.

  • my cabello es largo y ademas tengo mucho mucho mucho no se puede hacer ese estilo con mi cabello

  • It's little bit hard for thick hair.

I'm using google transtlate page to write this in Spanish. I hope it's correct :)

  • Es poco duro para el cabello grueso.

Estoy usando google transtlate página para escribir esto en español. Espero que la información es correcta:)

  • I think we all understand the basic concept. Practice people!

  • *lol... *rofl... "long" hair!! Sorry, I dont want to be rude and yes, your video is excellent but this is not long hair...

  • actually, in Hairstylist terms - this IS long hair. Medium length hair is about at the shoulders and shorter. Short hair is like a pixie cut.

  • If you read the info part, I explain there that I don't have long hair but this is the video that shows how to do it, if you have a long/longer hair.

After twist, I only tuck my hair just with one step. For longer hair, you repeat tucking by folding that part. If necessary, just loose the other part little bit at the same time. I know my english is not perfect to explain it right, but I hope you understand what I meant :))

    BTW, thank you pinktwilight26 :)

  • ugh my hair is all the way to my butt...

  • You did an excellent job, however, that is definitely not long hair, I would say medium length at best :) /keeps looking

  • Uh, I wish this was ong and thick hair. My hair is too thick for anything but ponytails...

  • This video is mis-labeled. It's not a French twist for long hair -- this hair is only medium at best. If I tried that with my long hair, I would still have at least 30 cm of hair sticking out the bottom of the roll.

It's a pretty style, though, and if it worked for my hair I would love it.

  • I know my hair is not that long but I just showed the way how you can do it. I did this to several people whose hair lenght is around their belly and it worked. You just need to do some practise. Tuck the hair part by part by folding them and if necessary, loose the hair more. You can always make it tighter after you tuck the hair in. It looks longer style of twist but it was the way how I did it to the others.

  • It didnt even stay in! That sucked

  • I didn't use a right tool. Combs or sticks are good.

  • any time I get a good twist it comes out when I'm dancing...any tips

  • Oh yeah, I've a tip. Find a talented guy who can twist you :) I've learnt some Salsa moves years ago but how much you learn sometimes doesn't mean anything without a guy who can do it properly :)

  • Thanks for that, ive been trying to figure them out for ages

  • When it's too long it's difficult but just loose the hair little bit , then you can tuck them all in.

  • Yeah i agree it can also be difficult if you have long hair. Check out my new hair video on my channel. I have created a new hairstyle called the "side parting"! I used some gel and made another sleek style. Let me know what you think of it!
