yes, even looking for a gravitron is totally stupid lol. Science needs to accept basic laws that do not have physical mass i.e law of attraction that makes things attract and repel. Look at clouds, water molecules that keep together although they are not magnetic. Do you have friends that are similar to you and your personality? That is the law of gravity
ermmm...... is not anti matter theoretical, not proven? Think: how can you 'catch' something that is anti-matter i.e it is not matter, merely an opposite reflection that is a polarisation kind of thing
if i remember correctly antimatter releases energy with 100% efficiency (nuclear fission is 1.5% efficient). it creates no pollution or radiation and one droplet could power new york city for a day. but the catch is that its very unstable (antimatter and normal matter anihilate each other when they come into contact) a single gram of antimatter contains the energy of a 20-kiloton nuclear bomb-the size of the bomb droped on hiroshima...so basically it could save us or destroy the whole earth. lol
I just read an artical on this and it said that CERN in Switzerland just made a HUGE partical accelerator (the machine used to make anti-matter), and although it is still dificult to create large amounts of it, its possible to make small amounts. The problem is that a partical accelerator take a TON of energy to run.
He is talking about Annihilation, where an antiparticle and a "normal" particle come into contact and disappear as matter and they are being converted into (radiation)energy.
And antimatter is just matter with an opposite charge, but in reality it's much more complex than that.
wow, you must be a genius or something right? not only was your description terribly nondescript, your comparison was childish and irrelevant. next time make sure you know what your talking about before attempting to explain something as heavy as antimatter.
He does know what he's talking about, the problem is that if he did a correct explanation, my sister would not understand. She's a med student, not a physics student.
dark matter/spent matter and a matter-fact angels and demons movie in theory is absolutely bonkers . ps long live forrest gump.

Anti-matter is simply putting it of course just opposite charges of existing sub-atomic particles.
For example electron=Position(Positively charged electron).
This is all particle theory, though.

For the record, gravity is also only a theory.

if u have anti-matter the size of a grain rice
u can blow up a whole city or more thats how powerful-and useful it is ...

thats incredible, please tell me the usa are not trying to make a bomb with this shiz, but i guess that would be naive

i dont think they have the technology to make it, and you can only gather it in small doses. if you can at all..but yeah, thats some crazy stuff.

what they made is called the LHC. yea its pretty sick

Particle accelorators create antimatter, but just a few atoms of it. To store it they suspend it by magnetic energy in a vaccuum.
vinnyraf 3 years ago
it releases radiation but has no radioactive byproducts. Actually no bybroducts at all!
vinnyraf 3 years ago
I read that in Angels and Demons, so yeah absolutely correct the energy released is fucking staggering

i got a book about physics and it tells about antimatter.

He forgot to mention that you have to store it in a vaccume in the magnetic field. And that theres only a VERY small amount on the planet.
