  • An article in the newspaper about black taxi driver is not the same as a documentary..

a documentary goes a lot deeper and wider... that is why I am still convinced this movie is not a documentary but very very bigotted propaganda. the fact that reactions here need approval says it all.. (if we dont agree, we dont want to hear it)The documentary totally misses the point on what land these people live and how it was obtained ..too bad this is limited

  • @BigTimeShowdown

Perhaps you'd like to inform us about how the land was obtained? I'd also like to add that no reflection on a subject can reflect all facets. My film is clearly about a diverse group of white people in a specific community - you'd appreciate this more if you viewed the whole film.

  • Mark Aitken makes a film about WHITE people dealing with fear... he also says it is not about colour but it is a film about fear of WHITE people (I thought white was some kind of colour).. If he would make a film about fear he would make a film about white and black and yellow people dealing with fear.

in this case of whites fear of black people and not blacks peoples fear of whites..which is in my opinion onesided and thus racist...

  • Selecting a specific group of people for a film does not by definition mean that the film or makers are racist. This is just the choice of subject matter. If you read an article in the paper about black taxi drivers this doesn't mean that anyone is being racist - it's just a choice of subject.

  • Does someone know what kind of music is the song of the minute 3:30 or, how it's called, or, who's the player. Please

  • @smotavita

the music is by Leafcutter John - on his solo album called 'The Forest and the sea' - he's also a member of a great band in London called Polar Bear.

  • um what happeened to the crocs?

  • the parents ate the kids.

  • what a load of crap..to many bad people of all coulors in south africa....and all the good ones been victims.....brainwash video from fantasy land

  • @k4boyZUMA This was no fantasy. The film was shot in Rustenburg and it's about white people dealing with their fears. Some of them have been brainwashed while others have learnt to move on. The film is about fear - not colour, although I know that in SA it's hard to distinguish anything from the obsession with colour.

  • the sound is really well-mixed in this film

  • what goes around comes around...what about the native americans, africans, and other indigenous groups that white people from the past have killed...they had no voice...I believe they do now and whites in south africa deserve it. I am not human but I speak for God. The devils children will be killed...thats been the fight since the beginning

  • ALL WHITES MUST DIE A THOUSAND DEATHS

  • @mrmiamicanes99 Fuck you racist. All racists should die a thousand deaths.

  • wow white people are something else i personally am not racist at all but do you white people really think that what you have done all throughout history will go unpunished lol. this is like me going to germanay to live and saying im scared of white people oh you and the whole apartied burning blacks on tires and electricuiting them I cant say for sure i dont know ur stories but im sure you should all be wiped out. africa will be fucked 4ever because of you devils.

  • @ccstevens5 agreed

  • Racial violence is in the shadow of class violence. This is about who has control of the country's resources.

  • please white south africans if you scared , go live in Angola. is the only place where whites and blacks are in peace.

  • Wrong country to live in and be Afraid of Black people ! Don't You Think? When the natives are Black... DUHHHHH

  • thanks to the person that sent me this link. cant wait to see it.

  • glad someone sent me this video! can't wait to see it. please tell us any updates.

  • I look forward to seeing this.

  • I live in South Africa at least 80% of my friends have been mugged. we are not scared of back people,we are scared of Poor people who are forced into crime.Still it is not an excuse for the atrocities they commit and the pain they leave behind.

  • Poor people, particularly unemployed poor people, commit crime for surival. It's a poor coping mechanism which is a greater need for the citizens to demand more jobs and opportunities for people.

  • So you're saying that the vast majority of crime is committed by people who will starve unless they rape, maim, and murder?

  • Whilst white and black south africans live in ignorance and fear of each other this beautiful country will never progress unless mutual understanding and education wins - this video will hopefully give all those that view it a better understanding of how very real this problem is. The problem is as old as the crocodile itself. The timing of this story is perfect.

  • It looks very fascinating and interesting for me as a Brazilian. I believe that in many ways South Africa and Brazil share the same kind of problems. The level of violence and the way the white rich part of the society disconnects itself from the rest and all the problems that come from that. Look forward to seeing it and for a Q and A with the director.

  • very nice, im ver interested to see it... good music

  • Looks like you've got some great footage. Add to that a timely subject and hopefully you'll have a cracking film. Looking forward to it.

  • Looks fascinating - and beautifully shot...

  • Intriguing and atmospheric - Look forward to seeing the full length doc
