Here is a musical dancer who dances in the famous gyms in the country of Sweden, and I see that the band Nightwish played in many different aerobics sessions, I hope someone does the same thing in our beautiful neighbor with the saying (thousand lakes) where four wonderful musicians resident, I like the band Nightwish forever

well Ive been a Nightwish fan for a long time now and i personally love Tarja but i think Anette is good to. just not operatic and thats OK cause her voice rocks too. I think Nightwish sounds good with both singers. I just prefer Tarja.

But have you heard her live in Hartwall Arena? That's a voice and better than almost all female metal singers live.
my only problem with anette, is one that i had with tarja as well. she needs to be more sluty lol. plain and simple, wear hotter cloths, and i dono makeup. pretty much anything thats not the clothes tarja wore.

@Kandiisu There's no way in hell Jukka can compare to Mike fucking Terrana, or even Empuu with Alex Scholpp... Those guys can actually play their instruments. And i'm fairly sure Scholpp wouldn't fuck up the Symphony of Destruction quite as badly.
She sounds like a pop singer, and she doesn't have nearly the vocal range that Tarja has. The music from the band as a whole is significantly less metal as well. Those who still like nightwish likely also listen to Evanesence.

@gothchica123 I can understand what you mean, just looking at some of the later live performance with Tarja in Nightwish it was obvious there was friction in the band. I suppose friction of any form will hold you back from doing your best, In a way DPP is Nightwish's best album and the gig I saw them do with Anette was amazing because you sense the relief within it and I was listening to some of Tarjas stuff and saw a vid of one of her live performance, they seem alot happier now both sides.

my only problem with anette, is one that i had with tarja as well. she needs to be more sluty lol. plain and simple, wear hotter cloths, and i dono makeup. pretty much anything thats not the clothes tarja wore.

no really... i tried to hear if it was really anette and i don't think so. if it is, she's making an amazing emulation of tarja, unlike in any other of her songs where she doesnt even try to sound the same. sounds a little quieter and range-clamped than normal but i guess that's just from the quality of the upload... it can't actually be anette.

why does everyone keep talking about the "old nightwish" Tarja is better without nightwish! HA don't believe me? just listen to her latest album (what lies beneath) her new band is so much better and she even writes her own music now and her lyrics are great! I'm not disappointed she was kicked from nightwish because now we have an even better Tarja to listen to. I like the new nightwish too! it's a different direction which prevented circularity in musical sound

nodoubt tarja has a better voice than anette, but they're from different Nightwish eras, two different stiles.
If tuomas, marco, emppu and nightwish in general chosen she as the new lead singer, is because they like it, and if she's better enough for them, then is better enough for me...

if i was Anette i wouldnt even think of presenting myself in front of NW, even accepting to be a part of it. Yes it's a great honor but i woudln't. i dont say Tarja is irreplacable, im saying that a little self estimation would be nice. at an interview of hers Anette said that she hadn't even been into metal before. how can she possibly even try to replace one of the biggest and the most amazing voices of symphonic metal? it's disrespectful.

@iamfoxynicole hehe, no way, Tarja will never be replaced in my heart. but in few words all i wanted to say with that comment, was that her attitude doesn't show any respect for the one she actually replaced. "sigh"... for example when the reporter mentioned Tarja at the same interview, Anette just did this thing with her face like she was trying to avoid an annoying fly wandering around her nose. i mean, it's tarja we're talking about, at least a good comment would be nice.

Tarja is much better off now. She has more control over her final product and she's working with much better musicians now as well. Anette is doing a fine job now as lead singer. I'm content.

@Kandiisu There's no way in hell Jukka can compare to Mike fucking Terrana, or even Empuu with Alex Scholpp... Those guys can actually play their instruments. And i'm fairly sure Scholpp wouldn't fuck up the Symphony of Destruction quite as badly.

She sounds like a pop singer, and she doesn't have nearly the vocal range that Tarja has. The music from the band as a whole is significantly less metal as well. Those who still like nightwish likely also listen to Evanesence.

@gothchica123 I can understand what you mean, just looking at some of the later live performance with Tarja in Nightwish it was obvious there was friction in the band. I suppose friction of any form will hold you back from doing your best, In a way DPP is Nightwish's best album and the gig I saw them do with Anette was amazing because you sense the relief within it and I was listening to some of Tarjas stuff and saw a vid of one of her live performance, they seem alot happier now both sides.
