the vanishing twin syndrome is very common i have had them in 2 of three of my pregnancies with my daughter i went in for ultrasound at 7 week and i saw 2 babies 2 hartbeats and then a week later i saw 1 baby 1 hartbeat wich made me upset i gave birth to a healthy baby girl scarlett i will be updating as i am ttcing
I don't what my levels where but I had miscarried twins. I had a positive pregnancy test one week and the line got darker. I misscaried and I still had a positive test a week later, and then I miscarried that one too. So maybe you where right with the vanishing twin thing, it is very common and we only know how common it is now with technology. Keep us updated sweety. Many prayers.

my sister was a twin my mom thought she lost the baby come to find out she was pregnant with twins and only lost one.... levels back up are a good sign there is no reason why the body would get more hcg without a baby right?! lets hope! good luck i hope this works out well!!
i hope this is good news! My advice is get an ultrasound at 7 1/2 weeks or later. By then you will 'probably' be able to see the baby. Don't get it at 5 1/2 weeks or earlier, at that point you would only see an empty sac, like i did. I think it was twins and you lost one twin. Could be cuz you had cramping right? One could have implanted a day before the other one did, so one was hcg 0 and the other was 50. Good luck hun!!!!!! :)

my sister was a twin my mom thought she lost the baby come to find out she was pregnant with twins and only lost one.... levels back up are a good sign there is no reason why the body would get more hcg without a baby right?! lets hope! good luck i hope this works out well!!
