Taylor Hall was/is a talented player with plenty of upside, but the scouts all said Seguin would be the better player in the FUTURE. Seguin is actually the more talented hall is the more gritty both are going to be great players down the road tho. Hall actually plays a little dirty I've seen him deliver more than a couple high shots on ppl, I'm kinda glad the oilers took him.also seguin was ranked number 1 by central scouting. This whole "seguin needs to bulk up" thing is kinda off he's 182-188 lbs throughout the season and I watched him very closely and ive never seen him "get knocked off the puck". He just needs experience

@bribrifry not necissarily. im i huge bruins fan and i love seguin and i agree that he has a great opportunity here (hell he already won a cup) but edmonton has a lot of other young talent surrounding hall and pick 1st again this year (ryan nugent-hopkins is going to be a star) with all that budding offensive talent playing on the fastest ice in the nhl in edmonton the oilers will be one of the most exiting teams in the league in a few years.

@bribrifry they have 4 centers now with eberle, nugey, brule, and gagner that are all very talented young high picks who are gonna all be sweet, theres hemsky who is already good, hall who is going to be amazing they can trade a center for some d or a goalie and once all that comes together which is going to be inevitable, the oilers are stacked. seguin is sweet and is going to be a leader in boston soon and i like him more, but halls gonna have the last laugh in whatever you guys built up here.

@DatHowYzer guarantee that Tambo trades Hemsky at the deadline this year when Edmonton is in the bottom 5...yet again. He'll rip off some stupid team and make them pay a 1st rounder for him, when, given his injury and subpar stat totals the last 2 years, he's really worth no higher than a 3rd. Tambo's a smart guy, and he's good at ripping off teams in trades (Smith deal, and a 1st rounder for Penner)...hell u could even argue Cogliano who the last 2 years has done shit and they get a 2nd rounder

@bribrifry hardly endless, seguin doesnt have much offense around him at all, boston sucks at offense, the d is going to win games and he is going to help with the offensive problem and they are gonna be successful. but edmonton has so many good young playmakers and goalscorers with so much potential they are going to put up crazy numbers, they have so much offense they can trade a few of their young forwards for defense and still be an all star stacked-as-shit playoff team in the near future.

NOT offense. a powerplay is the best representation of a teams offense as its the teams best offensive players outnumbering another teams best defense, obviously.
