When u burn a log it is still the whole log but in smoke form. The theory is true and u can test it yourself. So how did the universe begin? Where was all the matter packed into one area where it then expanded. Where did that first little tiny piece of matter come from the exploded and started it all. It didn't. God is real

That is what you have to look at. Research the number of earthquakes that have happened and how much they have increased sense the year 2000. It is a major jump how many happen every day. Why does this have to be about religion? Evolution is a basic fact. It doesn't disprove a God, it just disproves a page from the Bible that around 30 people still take seriously.
It annoys me when creationists completely disregard evolution by saying that you can't see it therefore you can't prove it. You can see it because there is so much variety within our own species. Our offspring don't look exactly like us, therefore logic states that if slight change occurs over enough time, a creature would look and behave very different from its ancestors 1,000,000 years ago.

There are better ways to argue on behalf of Creationism: google "The Incredible Design of Earth and Our Solar System." The threshold of life is more than just the "inhabitable zone, but there are quite a few "requirements" in order foster an Earth-like environment. If that site is to be believed the number of habitable planets in the Universe lowers dramatically. Another term for the concept is called "Fine tuning the Universe." It drove Einstein nuts.

Saying that life on Earth proves god is no more to the point than saying that one particular rock being in the place it is is proof of Shiva. That is what you have to look at. Research the number of earthquakes that have happened and how much they have increased sense the year 2000. It is a major jump how many happen every day. It annoys me when creationists completely disregard evolution by saying that you can't see it therefore you can't prove it. You can see it because there is so much variety within our own species. Our offspring don't look exactly like us, therefore logic states that if slight change occurs over enough time, a creature would look and behave very different from its ancestors 1,000,000 years ago.

There are better ways to argue on behalf of Creationism: google "The Incredible Design of Earth and Our Solar System." The threshold of life is more than just the "inhabitable zone, but there are quite a few "requirements" in order foster an Earth-like environment. If that site is to be believed the number of habitable planets in the Universe lowers dramatically. Another term for the concept is called "Fine tuning the Universe." It drove Einstein nuts.

Saying that life on Earth proves god is no more to the point than saying that one particular rock being in the place it is is proof of Shiva. You're assuming that life is somehow "more favorable" than non-life, which is a biased, subjective point of view. The Creator, God, always was and will always be as it said in His own Word. We have explanation for more than a lot of things, we have an explanation for EVERYTHING. God has needs, ha! Quit putting words in God's mouth.

@MrKevMan im sorry u had to grow up in a christian-less church that teaches god requires ur money to get to heaven. but by god just wants a relatinship. and its the best one ive ever had and i hope someday u will be able to see different. i think its sooooo stupid to brainwash people to literally pay money for your sin. that is not scriptural.

I didnt grow up in a christian-less church.
I went to Methodist church on sundays and during the week i went to a born again xian school.
I was told to believe things that:
They couldnt prove
Went against nature and fact
Were lies
Im sorry you fell and continue to fall for it. Why cant god speak for himself. If "HE" (because a him is better than a her according to almost all religions) If all god wants is a relationship with me, thats on him. But whre is he?

Some people just don't get it and some people have been so indoctrinated that they just CAN'T get it. I love the debate and the intellectual stimuli that this discussion evokes. But in truth, most who don't get evolution have been short-circuited by religious thinking and their neurological pathways to logical reasoning have become so distorted that it's deemed them incapable of objective thought. A sad but true reality.

Why can't these people just admit that there's no evidence for their god?
You "believe" in god, you don't "know" your god is there. (FAITH)
Also, they say things like "look at how complex things are, humans are so intelligent". If your god exists, it's FAR more intelligent & complex than anything on earth.
How can you sit there & say stuff HAD to be created because it's complex, but the most complex thing in "existance" didn't? Stop it...stop it...

@fun4dje No. Evolution is not dependent on atheism, nor is atheism dependent on evolution. The theory of evolution by means of natural selection is merely one of the many facts of nature that contradict the state of existence posited by Christianity; ergo being a useful tool to disprove Christian assertions. At least it was, before most Christians started believing in evolution. Now we have to wait for them to say something else ridiculous about the world. I'd give it a week.

LIsten Matt , I came out of what u believe , i've been down that road, u need to forgive those who have hurt u, and its easy to see u have been hurt from some very religious people. Also when u come down to not being able to explain away things like not being able to find transisitonal forms or seeing the complexity of our DNA and believeing that it all came together by chance its utter foolishness, the probabilities favor creation undoubtly.
