This man is no historian, he is an economist, but first and foremost he is a POLITICIAN. And everything he says about history has but one purpose: to discourage his opponents and to foster his own political agenda. Who do you think sponsored the creation of this film?

I'm not Polish and frankly I don't care about Roszkowski since I can't for or against him. What disgusts me is how people like him exploit painful memories from the past to influence people. It's SICKENING!

Imagine that youtube is banned in Chine. and they have communism there, i just can hope that it is not so bad as in 20th sanctuary Soviet Union.

i almost puked when i was watching this movie. I can not believe that my grandpa survived the deportation ... Movie must be seen just to get the opinion and make your analysis.

@RolandsSmoked I almost puked as well when I watched the Soviet Story, but for different reasons than you. For me this was the MOST ABHORRENT and REPULSIVE RAPING OF HISTORY I have ever seen! I realize most people don’t have the time or patience to study 20th century Russian history, but I was still shocked at just how many people bought into these blatant oversimplified lies.

If you think the Soviet Story is an independent film, think again. It was funded by the political UEN Group. Look it up

@ugiskl The Soviet Story is anything but the truth. It's a 90-minute series of LIES!

I'm not Russian, but I care about history and its accuracy. I've actually studied history, not much, but enough to know when I'm being lied to and certainly more than Edvins Snore, who graduated in POLITICAL SCIENCE (which explains a lot).

If you want a real documentary on the Stalin and his crimes, I warmheartedly recommend the following:

-World War Two: Behind Closed Doors

I have to agree. This film has been condemned by Jewish groups for rewriting history!

@MrReco12 I was not aware of this, though I am not at all surprised. If you look closely at the comments under the dozens of Soviet Story (SS) videos here on YouTube, you will see the majority (especially the more passionate proponents of this film) are made by extreme nationalists (mostly from former Soviet republics and satellite states)

I've actually come across one guy that was an open neoNazi (his ramblings about the "Jewish-Communist conspiracy" kinda gave him away).
