@NickHussle What's the model and configuration of your Mac? First thing to try would be moving/replacing/swapping around your RAM. KP's are usually (but not always) hardware related, and the easiest "hard" portion of the computer to mes with is RAM...
Hahaha I thought it was saying "Heeba heeba heeba heeba" until he said "someone wants to see betty" then my mind did that whole flip upside down switch your thinking and hearing around mindfuck and then I heard "BeTEE beTEE beTEE"..and odd KP
I used to get this ALL the time. Exactly the same as yours. And it was on an intel based mac, so that one guy can shut the fuck up about PPC, because that's not even a problem.
the first time i got a kernel panic (after two years) i was so shocked. it was after i had installed leopard and because of software compatibility problems i never upgraded and stayed at the out of box 10.5.0. since then i had about 12 kernel panics over a year and a half. now it's second nature but i'm glad to say that i have not had a kernel panic on my new mac pro since it's purchase in march. poor iMac and all my experiments. finally killed the hdd on it too.
@MrAnonymous9898 that's a real kernel panic, I got the same one on the same computer many times, turns outs this is caused by a bad hard drive and or Ram.
I'd be listening to some music and suddenly a Guru Mediation (kernel panic) would happen, and the sound would go into an infinite loop.
(For those that don't know - the Amiga was a 7 megahertz 68000 machine released in 1985. It was a lot like the original Macintosh but with 4000 colors and near-CD-quality sound.)
lol, i got the same error but it was with my new macbook pro (4 months ago) i had to take it back to the apple store and they exchanged it saying that i had a bad hard drive or something, i only used the damn thing once or twice since buying it back then, the new one is working perfect no errors so far, my powerbook g4 is still working great haven't had a problem since i got it other then the battery died 2 yrs ago, its a 4-5 year old laptop so....

Maybe you should get a new computer and you wouldn't have this problem anymore. Makes me sick that people still use the old and genuine pieces of shit PowerPC processors.
Fine. Email me at thisisadamb at gmail and I'll give you the address to mail me the check to so I can buy a new computer. It'll be $1200+tax for a 20" imac. Keep $4 for some Pepto if you're sick. Otherwise, I'll choose how my computer $ gets spent and deal with the issues, OK? PowerPC worked well for a lot of people for a long time, and still stands up well. Most of my Macs are PPC and they work just fine. KP's like this are rare for me, this one was funny, and i wanted to share it. Chill, ok?
You do realize PPC processors are in tons of products including the xbox360, right? They are far from shit. Should do a little reading instead of playing flight sims all day.
PowerPC Macs have better battery life, run cooler, and were more efficient computing wise as opposed the a comparable intel processor. (Look up the video "Mhz myth" and you'll see what I mean). Intel is still great though but I like PPC better.
Um no. That's false. While some PPC chips were more powerful than their Intel counterparts, they certainly consumed more power than any of them. Look it up. Apple couldn't make a PowerBook G5 because it was technically impossible and impractical. The G5 ran too hot and couldn't be stuffed into a one-inch think enclosure. That, and all the power the G5 needed would have drained any battery Apple had made at the time. Also, look at the Xbox 360. RRoD anyone? PPC works, but it's far from perfect.
That's only true for the G5. My PowerBook G3's and iBook G4 have great battery life and never heat up, no matter the load. My iBook G4 has an old battery, but still has better than a MacBook's battery life. No processor is perfect, but PPC IMO is good.
The PowerBook G3's were great machines. With two hot swappable bays, you could use two batteries for great battery life. But the white iBook G3's were horrible. My broken G3 shows. They heated up considerably during use, various parts such as the motherboard failed, prompting recalls from Apple. The G4 is decent, but nothing too special. My iMac G4 is great, but there's no contest between it and my 2007 MBP. The new Intel chips are better and require less power. PPC is good but Intel is better.
I like PPC Macs, of course, but technologically speaking, Intel chips are superior. But, there aren't many computers that could eclipse the clamshell iBooks, the Power Mac Cube, or the TAM in my opinion. That said, I'm not all for Intel either. I'd like to see AMD come back and offer some better competition. Would be healthier for the market in the long run.
Yeah. I had a White G3 iBook 500 Mhz, and it never had heating or video or logic board problems, but I gave it away. The intel chips take less power, but the laptops have brighter screens or some other component that makes the battery deplete quicker or the fan come on more. The only time when my 1 Ghz iBook G4 fan comes on is when the processor is at 100% usage for like 10 minutes when it's on my bed or the bottom is blocked. I'd love a MacBook though, even if it heats up more :P
My MacBook heats up every now and then, but it's certainly not a recurring thing. It only heats up when the battery is empty and the computer is performing multiple tasks while recharging... Sometimes the fans come on high while I am running several programs at once, but really, performance is great and heat is certainly minimal. Unless you plan to game on it, you probably wouldn't melt your lap. ;)
GUYS, ALL COMPUTERS CRASH!!! Macs, PCs, Linux computers.. all computers crash. I personally have a MacBook and YES it has crashed. I have an HP Pavillion laptop and YES it crashes. My Mac only crashes maybe once every few months. But guess what... it still crashes. Lol.
That is a strange kernal panic. I think the only one I have every gotten just froze up the computer. Leo LaPort has a habit of crashing sites, but I have never heard of him crashing an individual computer I guess it was hard boot time. Thank you for posting this weird video on your kernal panic. Look forward to your next one.
