I met the people who coordinate this program and also looked at some of their "Student works" -- Utterly inferior work. There's no way in Hell this misguided course could ever land someone a job. Not only that, their tuition rates are $18'000+ for rubbish programs. I'd recommend a well recognized college or even a 3 year university course in programming/design over this garbage any day.
@mmkirby2 No degree can guarantee you a job. Don't get me wrong, a degree is important in many fields, but the time when just having a degree would guarantee you a job, is long gone. Facilitate, yes, guarantee, no.
This is especially true in the games industry, which is a very competitive field to get into.
@PandemonicHypercube lol wow I completely forgot about this shitty school. I went to a public college for a 3 year game programming program that's 3k a year. Fuck trios.
No, because he works for the school... This program is completely mismarketed, misdirected, and misguided, just like half the students in the course. Your eperience will vary greatly depending on what campus you take the program at, and how much 'experience' your instructor actually has, even if they "come highly recommended"

I know someone who goes to this program at my work. He told me it's a 2 year program that earns you a diploma.
The thing is I've taken something similar to this in Toronto once and I don't believe 2 years is enough for this field.
I think it's better to get a Computer Science Degree.

Better off going to a university for Comp. Sci Degree. This course is a waste of money.
