I'm trying to get drop down lighting, but instead of one block, it has three in a delta pattern...then it retracts and another delta a few blocks ahead does the same

I got a nice way of a lightstone floor controling with pistons. Its pretty compact and easy to understand :D

all you really need for it to go up and down is a switch a couple of redstone torches, some redstone dust and a sticky piston lol

you should make it so it adds a fence above the light stone so it looks like a chandler

It looks ugly, but cant you just make a block come back revealing a window or redstone? I did it on my world, it doesn't take that much effort.

Out of sheer curiosity, is it possible to make a set of pistons act as a "wheel" by moving itself forward by pulling each other continuously?

I can sort of see how it's possible. But a million dollars if you can manage a way for it to happen.

Id love to see you use the wireless redstone mod. Makes things so neat. (All this underground about 1000 blocks away hidden. Button set on the reciever. Nice and neat

Compact, everything redstone needs to be more compact. Notch, either give us wireless or make a redstone compact block with multiple inputs and outputs.

@Minecraftaddict the lag you were having was the common prob of the "lag spike of death" idk search opitfog and on the minecraft fourm page it has a video and fix for it ( i think that was the prob)
