  • thanks for that.

  • very informative thanks!

  • Im am running a bcf2000 in pro tools 10 and got it conneted i can control the faders from the bcf but on pro tools i carnt control the faders on the bcf // i also understand u have Pn on the screen of your bcf reather than BBu1???

  • @surfingslayer Hey did ever get it to work cause mine saying the same thing?!

  • My led screen wont say pn on my bcf. But everything works with pro tools. except the faders do not move by themselves? can anyone help?

  • There are no drivers for mac, and what should I do if I use USB?

  • @morbida if you're running it on a Mac it doesn't need any drivers everything should be ready to go.

  • simple and probably a stupid question: it does work with the volume pan etc .. but what about other plug ins with "vitual knobs" like efx .. compression, eq, etc...

  • Thank you!

  • This is a good video.

  • Cheers mate. I'm thinking of buying one of these but was a bit concerned about the setup for PT. Looks pretty straightforward. Nice video

  • what drives should i get ? im useing window's xp with protools 7.

  • You da man! I was close to figuring it out but you put me on the path. Thanks brother!

  • do you mean hold down the fifth button while turning the power on the bcf on or powering up protools?

  • great demo man! i couldn't find out anywhere if it had the ability to shuffle banks beyond the first 8 tracks, you should be at their booth at NAMM giving the demos lol... their people suck!

  • thanks man! :)

  • Hi, thanks for the video! It helped me to start and get it on quickly! I have a question, do you know how should we use for automation or to control the plguins? I can see that sometimes all the automation parameters were added where you enable them for automation also, but did not find any info on how to use it. Any ideas?

  • Are you happy with this kit?

  • Thankyou! Im goin to try this with pro tools finally. Ive been using this with FL and it works like a charm. It's amazing what you can do with this unit & its cheap price! And u are right about the faders, they've always scared the crap outta you n people around when its quiet, they are pretty loud, LOL

  • Hi, the led graphs, we call them 'halos' as in over an angel. :)

  • thankyou very much. very useful

  • Great!!! All others forums I've read make it out to be a masters thesis type task!

  • 2 questions:

    1. can i use a behringer Ub1832fx pro in pro tools?

    2. if yes,im currently using a UCA 222 audio interface to connect my UB mixer.. will it work with pro tools?

  • hey where are the inputs like mic or 1/4 connection??

  • @josebachata this is a midi controller interface. not an audio interface. it controls parameters within software like. volume faders and panning dials, record and stop buttons. it does not have inputs for audio like mics, line ins or 1/4'' jacks. and it doesnt have audio out for headphones or line outs

  • thanks jus got mine yesterday and worked like a charm! thanks for the info :) and dont forget if ur running windows 7 open protools as administrator if not u will get a pop up in protools.

  • i was wondering can you use the nanokontrol to control channel faders in pro tools le?

  • HAHAHAH I love the wife comment. It's all true

  • thanks 4 the help

  • can you use multiple of these like 3??

and would the banking features work so i could jump from

    tracks 1-24 to 25-48??

    thanks

  • CAN IT CONTROL EQ PARAM IN PT8?

  • is it worth the money ?

  • Thanks man, i had tried to use this with logic with no luck and your vid tied up a few loose ends for me and i now have it working with pro tools perfect..........great vid!

  • Great video. Thanks for the help! I'm probably going to get myself one. I've wanted some kind of control surface with motorized faders because I enjoy mixing with them. This seems to be the most affordable and is still good quality for what it offers.

  • how did you get a black one

  • @willxxxlife it is blue not black.

  • @MeleeTV dude i have one it's black

  • thanks alot helped me out soo much i was tuck on that for weeks thankyou

  • can u also use behringer ub2222fx for both recording and mixing in pro tools?

  • Well done video HawkStudio! Nice of you for elaborating this setting. Thanks a lot for including BEHRINGER BCF2000 on your video. We love to see updates of your upcoming videos. Keep up the good work!

  • how can i set up 2 at the same time helpppppppppppppppppppppppppp

  • Thanks, this was helpful! =)

  • I have the same position with my wife lol I wanted to buy the command 8 but I just bought a bunch of equipment Eleven Rack, Studio Monitors, Usb hubs, external hard drives etc and I saw this unit in a affordable price in caught my attention, Now my question is now that you have it for so long How you feel with it it works? you have any issue so far with it?

  • do this work with vista

  • @JGCapone1 yes duuuh

  • will it work as a control surface in cubase sx3?

  • Thanks i can't wait to get one

  • Wait, it has no record button? is it just me or is that wierd? i mean, no control surface is a control surface without a record button.

  • Do have this hooked up via usb or midi? And do you know if it is hub supported because im virtually out of usb ports. :/

  • @wejhead Im using USB. I have heard of people daisy chaining 4 of these using a hub, but I have never tried it. I cant see why it would be a problem.

  • @HawkStudio Thank you, thats really helpful. Hopefully this will be my next addition.

  • @HawkStudio I have two of these daisy chained with no issues. 16 faders

  • @SmoothbassmanStudios hi, I have 2 BCF2000 units and am trying to link them in my protools, but they're spazzing out, both are in baby hui modes and the first is in my peripherals but the second wont come up, how did you daisy chain them?

  • In case anyone is wondering why your Behringer BCF2000 faders are not working in Pro Tools 8, while using "Windows 7", you have to set the Pro Tools 8 program to "Run as administrator" in order for the control faders to work in sync with the Digidesign software. Hope this will help those who are scratching their heads about this matter.

  • Thank you! Answered my question.. got it working in PT 8, iMac 2.8 OSX 10.5

  • @scheffmusic I run iMac OSX 10.5 too. I can't seem to get any of the software off the behringer site... they all seem to be for PCs... how did you get it to work?

  • Congratulations. I´m from Caracas, Venezuela. The BCF2000 works with pro tools 8 M-powered?. Thanks!!!

  • Cracking Vid Man, Just what a lot of people (me included) where looking for!

  • does is support OSX 10.5?? Intel Based macs?

  • that was just what i needed thanks man, i dont like to buy something and not know anything about it, like if its compatible with pro tools/Fl studio etc, thanks
