  • Might interest people to know it was a canadian jewish radio talk show host who started this whole skit. She said homosexuality was an abomination and it led the writers to write this because it became a controversy all over north america. Just saying i agree witht he fake president but people shouldnt single out just christians all abrahamic faiths do this backwards bullshit. If yout ake any direction on how to live your life from a book that old you are a fucking retard. That is all.

  • And in relation to Donnyreb - he's not a christian, he's a racist, and a bigot. Check out his comments on other threads by clicking his name - full of utterly stupid comments about black people. Perhaps he should go into a corner and finish evolving. Reminds me of those westboro baptist church lunatics.

  • @gmnods Dear gonads, I love negro people. Everybody should own one.

  • In reply to MrMaxTruth and co, I can only point out the unassailable truth. Whilst christians such as yourselves are often vocal and load about condemning homosexuality, I have never once heard anyone railing about crop plantation, or mixed fibres, yet they have the same biblical penalty. So how can you pick and choose? Is it because you have a bias against one 'sin' more than others? Of course it is! Ironically, homosexuality is one of the only 'sins' that many argue is a state, not a decision.

  • @gmnods Gonads.....you MUST be a girl. You are one dumb bimbo!

  • 19 people are Dr. Laura fans.

  • 19 people are members of the ignorant tight-asses club

  • love this scene! I know it's fiction but you just gotta love the priggish portrayal of the lady in green; a sort of proto tea partyesque Sarah Palin figure (although arguably not quite as hot as the latter)

  • The term "PhD" stands for Doctor of Philosophy, and someone that holds a PhD (aka, doctorate) is known as a doctor.

  • @VBAadmin That depends on who's addressing or referring to them. In most U.S. news media, the honorific "doctor" is used only for people with doctorates in medicine.

  • @VBAadmin Sure, but if you give advice on tv under the name Dr. so-and-so you're implying that you're educated is somehow related to what you're talking about.

If some one is having a heart attack would you run up to them and say "trust me I'm a doctor" because you have a PhD in english lit?

  • All religion is based in interpretation.

  • @AARDeadORAlive and faiytales, written 2000 years ago.

  • and the war begins......

  • Part 4-. The law is alive not dead like a piece of stone and like a man it changes as he matures. Jesus revealed that it was Gods mercy that lies at the heart of the law and that through Him it was possible to obtain that mercy.

If the President had understood this he would not have said the things he did. Homosexuality just like any other sin is a sin is deserving of death but Christ delivers us from that death.

If it were not this way then Jesus himself would be guilty of breaking Gods law!

  • @MrMaxTruth - So...You agree with Dr. Laura?

  • @PendekarBobbe In the clip shown here she states that she agrees with Gods decree that homosexuality is an abomination. If your asking if i agree with that then yes i do. Just as adultery is an abomination or theft or backbiting or worshiping false idols. All sin is an abomination to God, not just homosexuality. But Christ set us free from the penalty of death through repentence and forgivness is given. This is the difference between the Old Covenant and the New Covenant.

  • @MrMaxTruth The fact of the matter is that the religious fanatics who believe homosexuality is a sin are always condemning homosexuals because it makes them uncomfortable, not because it is "morally wrong". They pay no mind to the other "sins" stated in the Old Testament because they themselves often commit them. You'll never see a Christian camp dedicated to getting teens to stop eating shellfish or wearing clothing of two different kinds of thread.

  • @BroTaiJr I am afraid I am one of those "religious fanatics " that believe homosexuality is a sin. But i have to say , i condem homosexuality no more than i would any other sin. To me and many other Christians "all" sins make us uncomfortable not just homosexuality, and that includes our own sin. But you realy should not tar every Christian that displays hatred with the same brush. Christ teaches us to hate the sin, not the sinner and most of the Christians i know do not hate.

  • @MrMaxTruth I did not mean for it to sound like I meant that anyone who believes homosexuality is a sin is a religious fanatic. I understand if you believe it is wrong; you're entitled to your own beliefs and I have no right to declare my beliefs to be any better than yours. However, there is no way you can honestly say that the other sins listed from the Old Testament have gotten nearly as much hate that homosexuality has.

  • @MrMaxTruth 2/2 I know some do believe homosexuality is a sin but still do not hate/discriminate against gays, which is how a normal, level-headed person should act. Although there is still a vast number of people who persecute gays claiming to be following the Bible, when they do not persecute people who commit any of the other sins in the Old Testament like being around a woman while she's on her period or planting crops in the same field.

  • @BroTaiJr You are correct. There are people who call themselves Christian who spout hatred, particularly against homosexuals. This in itself is a sin. There are many who call themselves christian but do not live a christian life. Jesus himself condemed the Pharasees for their relegious hipocracy and called them "white washed sepulchres gleaming white on the outside but within all things dead." But it is only Jesus that has the answer on how to deal with sin/evil to begin with!

  • @BroTaiJr Are you talking about queers again?!

  • @MrMaxTruth 2/2 The point of this video is not that we should punish all those who commit those sins; it's that the sins are a load of crap. I have nothing against religion, I believe no one on Earth knows definitively how we got here or why we are here (I favor scientific views due to overwhelming evidence), but when a religion and it's followers begin to prosecute and harass a group of people because they don't agree with their way of life, that is just plan fucking wrong.

  • @MrMaxTruth Truth is not determined by the number of people that BELIEVE something to be true. In example, the Bible.

  • @usorthem3 I totally agree - numbers mean nothing - substance on the other hand means everything !

  • Part 3- He reveals they all are guilty and deserve the very punishment they are so ready to deal out to the prostitute. Jesus did not tell the woman to clean up her act and then He would forgive her. He said, "Neither do I condemn you; go your way; sin no more." Jesus revealed that we , although deserving of punishment, can be redeemed through his grace. A penitent and contrite heart is what Gods seeks, not death. Does this nullify the Law of Moses, by no means.

  • Part 2 -Bear in mind this was an attempt of entrapment by the Pharisees. If Jesus had said the law of Moses was done away with ,do not stone her, with that they would have proved Jesus was a false Prophet. On the other hand, it was illegal under Roman Law to execute someone for religious crimes. But Jesus doesn't say do not stone her.. Instead he reveals their own sins ,by asking if any among them are without sin then they should cast the first stone.

  • Part 1 - As Jesus said, "I have not come to abolish the law but fulfill it." What does this mean in relation to execution or stoning of homosexuals or any one who has sinned as the the Old Covenant law demanded. The answer is found in the scene where a woman is brought to Jesus by the Pharisees for execution by stoning for the crime of adultery.

  • Sam is the best .. "I... I'm just going to take your crab puff"

  • LIKE A BOSS

  • This is a very offensive 4 minute clip depicting a liberal arrogant anti-religious president disciplining a Dr Jacobs, an incompetent bubblehead. He does this by quoting Old Testament scripture. She does not refute anything, much to the delight of the secular observers. Sheen needs to try this stunt with Hugh Ross, Dennis Prager, or Ravi Zacharias who would school HIM!!!

  • @donnyreb Sheen didn't write the script, you nitwit. And I'll take on your roster of biblical "experts" with their endless Ph.Ds not worth the paper that they're printed on any day of the week and twice on Sunday (yes, that's from A Few Good Men)

  • @dblthnk02 They should have cast you as the bubblehead. You seem dumb enough.

  • @donnyreb YOU were the one who was too ignorant to distinguish Martin Sheen from the character he portrayed. The West Wing isn't real life, moron

  • @dblthnk02 Really??????!!!! I thought West Wing was real life!!!! hahahahahahaha imbecile

  • @donnyreb Hey, nutsack: your very words were, "SHEEN needs to try this stunt with . . ."

So who is the imbecile here? Y o u

  • @dblthnk02 Do you always answer your own questions? You must like talking to yourself, psycho!

  • @donnyreb How old are you: 12? Over-and-out

  • @dblthnk02 You said your IQ is 12? Over-and-out

  • @donnyreb you are too clever. I'm glad there's somebody like you posting here, to tell other people how to be good Christians, and even tell everyone else that they should be Christian. -and of course there is only on way to be a good Christian, and everyone else is wrong! So full of dignity and piety, and so many other wonderful characteristics. You are a great person. Thank you so much for contributing your meaningful comments.

  • @CrypticSS Dear SepticSS - I'm glad you finally realize that I am right and you were wrong. That is Step #1. Step #2 is ........ take a shower!

  • @donnyreb Go get sodomized in the shower by a bull elephant

  • @dblthnk02 I see that all your comments are about faggots. Do you like all men or just little boys? Do you have sex with animals too?

  • @donnyreb Homosexuality has nothing to do with pedophilia. The argument that since homosexuals like men, they must also like little boys, is no more valid than someone saying you like having sex with little girls because you're heterosexual. Also, if you compare a man having sex with another man to bestiality, then going by your pathetic logic then all straight women also enjoy having sex with animals.

  • @BroTaiJr You have a lot of interest in having sex with little boys and animals. Why is that?

  • @donnyreb If I may quote you, "Do you like all men or just little boys? Do you have sex with animals too?" You were first to comment about it without any provoking, thus proving that it was on your mind before anyone even mentioned it. The better question is: Why do YOU have a lot of interest in it?

  • @BroTaiJr There you go. Talking about your sickness again. Please do not act out any of your fantasies. How did you get like this? Were you abused as a child?

  • @donnyreb Haha, nah, unlike you my parents were not drunks and did not take out their frustrations from their poor, shitty lives on me. I feel sorry for you because your responses as so pathetic. Lmao, I mean, you can't even come up with any good insults. I'm not going to respond to you any more, having this conversation was probably the biggest waste of time of life.

  • @BroTaiJr Who did your drunk parents take out their frustrations on due to their poor shitty lives? Just curious.

  • @donnyreb 2/2 Trying to have a legitimate discussion with you is like trying to teach a dog to drive... Well I guess that is even less of a waste of time since they got your mom to drive.

  • @BroTaiJr Hey NAMBLA. I have a message for your mother.......Woof Woof!

  • @donnyreb way to avoid the fact that you wrote something that was pretty darn stupid. P.S. Do you always act like an idiot?

  • @CrypticSS Dear SepticSS - You sound like you are part of the Occupy Wall St bowel movement which I call the FLEA party (Freeloading Liberals Encouraging Anarchy). Before responding, occupy a shower!!

  • @donnyreb you wrote your post as if that was the case...

  • @donnyreb "offensive" is subjective. Where you see offensiveness, countless others see a display of truth and justice. Quit trolling. You are ignorant. Take your beliefs elsewhere. You are entitled to them, but nobody is telling you to be gay. Just live your own life and don't tell other people how to live. What the hell is with that? Your own personal beliefs do not translate into rules that everyone else has to live by.

  • @donnyreb How about you come up with an intelligent argument against what was said in the video, instead of hiding behind Ross, Prager, or Zacharias. It's obvious that you're incapable of refuting the video so you resort to trivial insults and avoiding a simple discussion about the topic at hand. Go to school, learn something, then come back... It's people like you that give the normal religious followers a bad reputation.

  • @BroTaiJr There is nothing to argue here...... I'm right. Sheen is wrong. And you're stupid!

  • @donnyreb Sheen is not a writer for the West Wing, he is an actor on it; he is PAID to say what the writers and producers tell him to say. This video in no way reflects Martin Sheen's feelings, in fact Martin Sheen is a Christian. You're just an ignorant child that does not know how to intelligently defend himself, and so you resort to pitiful excuses to not continue a discussion that you know won't go in your favor. I doubt you can even fully comprehend my responses. Good luck, you pompous ass.

  • @BroTaiJr You didn't go too far in school, did you? You need to Occupy a library and do a lot of reading. Come back when you are a little smarter.

  • @donnyreb Hahahaha, you're responses are so fucking pathetic. I'm going to end this now because it was fun at first to make you seem like an ignorant jack ass, but now it's only getting tedious due to your redundant comments. Obviously you're too afraid to try to defend yourself with anything other than insults, so I will not waste my time on you anymore. I actually have a job, friends, and a girlfriend to occupy my time; unlike you, who is most likely some hick on his computer from 1999.

  • @BroTaiJr You have friends? Who? Members of NAMBLA?

  • @donnyreb 2/2 Good luck, you're going to need it rofl

  • using the bible to validate hate is blasphemy.

  • needs autotune

  • This is like a boss!

  • i want a "crab puff"

  • I approve this message.

  • Grantland!

  • I believe in the Bible, and I love this clip. It cuts down people who "cherry pick" their arguments.

As for everyone calling out each other: let he who is without sin cast the first stone..

  • This is usually an entertaining show, but like most other attempts by hollywood at intellectual discussion, scenes like this just reveal how narrow minded they are.

  • @limatime1985 you keep saying that, not explaining why. the point they're making is that if you refer to the bible for some ethical issues, why do you disregard what the bible explicitly says on others? you might disagree (although i'd be interested in your explanation why you disagree), but it's not a narrow-minded or mind-bogglingly dumb point they're making, and people who agree with what Sheen is saying are not incapable of critical thought as you keep saying.

  • It's brilliant!!! Let's go sorkin, we need more shows like this!!! We need you back

  • when the president stands, nobody sits.

  • Old testament...new testament. It's all from the same book of fairy tales.

  • At 3.10 she's thinking "I'm with my friends, i'm not backing down", and at 3.13 his eyes narrow as if to say "I will wait you out forever if I have to."

  • Damn. He beat her with words

  • Actually people, what he quoted was the old testament where all those rules about stoning and such were broken when the lord came and the ten commandments were written. This guy went way out of context and should have paid attention to what the whole of these books were talking about, let alone who. a.k.a the Jewish. Who still follow some of these rules today because they have a different outlook on these items than other Christians, but homosexuality being a sin is still in the bible regardless

  • @TheSuperemilierose whooosh, went the point, right over your head

  • And last time I checked, the Bible is not the supreme law of the land in the United States.

  • @JKirien Yet far too many people in power seem to think so.

  • @TheSuperemilierose ... Yes, homosexuality is stated to be a sin in the Old Testament in addition to everything listed in the video, and it was broken along with the rest of them. So going by your logic, cutting your hair, eating shellfish, and coming into contact with a woman on her period, are also all sins in the bible and thus equally detestable. The New Testament says nothing about homosexuality.

  • Actually, Dr. Laura denounced herself as an orthodox jew. She also had an affair with a married man, posed nude for him and because of his help, began her successful radio career.

Really, none of us is in a position to judge. There is - nor will there ever will be - proof that God, Jesus or any of the prophets denounced homosexuality. Why should we?

Everyone of us is fighting some kind of battle. Isn't it better to show a little compassion to one another? Isn't that what Jesus might do?

  • I would like to point out all the verses quoted are in the Old Testament, which are full of laws which represent who God is. Gos is a righteous God, so he makes righteous laws. However, by dying on the cross, Jesus made a New Covenant which overwrites the Old Testament laws. Hebrews 8:6 shows that Jesus is the solution for when we break God's laws.

  • @james62593

I would like to point out that Dr. Laura (on whom this was based) is an Orthodox Jew. So the New Testament is kind of irrelevant. And by "kind of", I mean completely.

I would also like to ask what exactly Jesus said about homosexuality? Not Paul, but Jesus? Surely, if the gay is an abomination, Jesus would have mentioned it directly, wouldn't he?

  • @knaverupe

haha, that would explain why the president only used Old Testament references...

even if we take the New Testament out of the picture, the Old Testament still represents God's laws and what kind of God He is.

I do not recall Jesus saying anything specifically about homosexuality... but He did say "I and the Father are one" in John 10:30. If He and the Father are one, that must mean that He carries the same view of homosexuality as His father.

  • @knaverupe He did by exterminating all of Sodom and Gomorrah and the people in it. who were the gays, homosexuals, adulterers, and I could continue but I think you get the point.

  • Holy shit! That was amazing. I wish I can come up with an awesome speech like that within minutes :) come on Christians seriously? A fucking talking snake bullshit? Educate yourself. Don't be afraid, it's ok to think for yourself, and not by some book written by some drunk old men in tents.

  • i once saw this video with explaination of all the bible quote in this video writen underline can someone find something like this for me?

  • This video's nonsense is totally PWED by watch?v=if8A9Kvg3r0

  • OWNED by the Illusive Man.

  • I just love Biblically ignorant and out of context rants from script writers. lol

  • @CRoadwarrior I just love christian assholes that go around quoting the bible as justification for their absolutely wretched actions. Such as hating gays and every other religion. lol

  • @linkfan4616 LOL....whatever...My answer to your nonsense, and the nonsense of this video, is here:

    watch?v=if8A9Kvg3r0

  • @CRoadwarrior I'm not going to click on any links that you're prejudiced ass sends me. Pray tell me how you can go around hating gays because the bible tells you to but then go do something else that the bible tells you not to and consider it acceptable. If you were a true Christian you'd accept all parts of it, not just cherrypick the good ones.

  • @linkfan4616 And the persistant and blind reliance on ignorant rhetoric continues. Who said that I "hate" gays? I do not. Neither does the Bible teach "hate" of gays any more than it teaches "hate" of thieves or liars. I do accept all the Bible. I just understand it IN CONTEXT better than most who talk about "cherry picking." Try some credible study and research for a change.

  • @CRoadwarrior The bible says that being gay is an abomination, you are a Christian so you support that. I don't need to do any research for that. You accept the bible as being 100% truth and holiness but a lot of things you do everyday are in complete defiance to the bible, as shown in this video, again I don't need any damn research to know that.

  • @linkfan4616 Yes, the Bible does say homosexuality is wrong, but it does NOT say "hate" them, as you assumed earlier. The video, as I pointed out earlier, is based on IGNORANCE, and if you support the silly claims in the video, you are as ignorant as the claims made. So again, you need to do some research or stay ignorant: watch?v=if8A9Kvg3r0

  • @CRoadwarrior Everything stated in this video IS in the bible and you still refuse to comment on that. Why is that? You don't do everything the bible tells you to do but you still do some things. How can you do that?

  • @tinyflyonthewall Homosexuality doesn't breed disease. Promiscuity does. Falling in love and devoting yourself to someone is the very opposite of vain, selfish, and narcissistic.

  • @RocketmanV8 Its PURE self worship to accept a lover of the same gender as yourself. Absolute narcissism.

  • @RocketmanV8 Then what was AIDS? It BURNED through the gay community!

  • @youngoldbones It also burned through the African community and the drug user community, what's your point?

  • @tinyflyonthewall Homosexuality doesn't breed disease, sex breeds disease, it makes no difference who is involved. Yeah you're right gays don't reproduce which is good because the world is grossly overpopulated as is. Don't know what you mean by selfish, narcissistic, and vain. You were just trying to sound smart there, really pathetic because it doesn't relate to the topic at all by the way. So yeah I just proved your entire argument wrong, have fun continuing to be a moron. :)

  • @linkfan4616 LOL! The world is NOT overpopulated. You sound like a elitist! That's what the wealthy say about all those unfortunate people whose resources they horde away from those who deserve better than what they have. Their idea is, lets get rid of all these extra unnecessary people, I have no need for them. BTW, lets just cram our seed up some guys fecal chute instead. Yeah, that's a plan.

  • @tinyflyonthewall The world is not overpopulated, really? You're an idiot. And what's worse is you think you're standing up for the less fortunate or something, you aren't asshole. You've probably never done a single thing to try and help those less fortunate than you, so shut the fuck up. You're just a misinformed, unintelligent, prejudiced, prick who just blames gays for everything because you don't want to take responsibility for yourself. Fun fact: 100,000 people per square mile in Shanghai.

  • @linkfan4616 In actuality you could take EVERY person in the entire world, give them an efficiency apartment and fit every one of them into the state of Texas.

  • Seems like a huge non-sequitur, its as if he was taking up a conversation he had had with her at another time. This seems like hardly the time or the place for a tirade against her Belief in BIblical law. Had a REAL president spoken in this way, it would have hit the news like a lightning bolt and every Christian in this nation would feel that he is attacking their God. Ergo, this guy doesn't have the brains to be president. Keep your seats everyone.

  • And yes the Bible is very clear about homosexuality being an abomination. That's just obvious! It is against Gods design for the purpose of sex.

  • @tinyflyonthewall The Bible was written by MEN. Get over yourself.

  • @tinyflyonthewall sorry, I accidentally voted this up. Can I ask, are you a fan of shrimp? I love shrimp. Does this mean I should be outcast, because the Bible clearly states that eating shrimp is an abomination, as is wearing wool and linen together, or approaching the altar of God while wearing glasses. Just because the Bible reads a certain way, does not mean that it should be percieved literally without accounting for the context of the time in which it was written.

  • @zeezee160 No, I am NOT a fan of shrimp, or Lobster or crab, giant sea arachnids (spiders) they are!

  • @tinyflyonthewall I accidentally voted this up.

  • @zeezee160 Thats okay, I PURPOSELY voted your down. Twice.

  • @tinyflyonthewall do you think Jesus approves of your hated in general?

  • @zeezee160 You are assuming hatred of the person, one can hate the sin and still love the sinner. Thats exactly how God feels about the topic. He hates sin.

  • @tinyflyonthewall Im so glad that you can inform everyone of how God feels. Thank you for your wisdom.

  • It is clear in the Bible that God only sanctioned sexual relations between a man and his wife. Period! IF these limitations were rigidly held to, it is highly unlikely there would be STDs at all. Therefore due penalty is paid out at times among all who break this commandment!

  • @tinyflyonthewall you do realize that AIDs originated in Jamaica where a man had sex with a monkey right?

  • @zeezee160 ROFL!

  • @tinyflyonthewall That argument has absolutely no reasoning behind it. I could easily say that Allah made cancer and heart disease to kill off all you fat, stupid Jesus freaks, and you deserve it for not following his law.

  • So let’s stop the charade and be honest. Opponents of gay marriage aren’t defending the Bible’s values. They’re using the Bible to defend their own.

  • @AMcGrath82 True that.....

  • USA: 1

    Ignorant tight-ass club: 0

  • this president has no idea about new testament, right?

  • @Buckwheatjay the new testament is irrelevant because everything he mentions has the same status in the bible as homosexuality. If a person rejects the things he says, then they cannot say they are obligated to accept the bible's teachings on homosexuality.

  • @thatguywhosaidstuff Acts ch 21 vrs 25 "As for the Gentile (non Jewish) believers... they should abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality... But Romans 1 :27 "In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

  • @Buckwheatjay That is not the point. The point is that christians who say "god says homosexuality is an abomination" are picking one verse from leviticus while at the same time ignoring the rest of leviticus and claiming that jesus changed the laws.

Also: Jesus on the old testament: "The Scripture cannot be broken" (John 10:35). "Until Heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass away from the law, until all is accomplished" (Matthew 5:18).

    Stop being a hypocrite.

  • man I'm dumb, what's a PHD? I thought Porn Hub Doctor?

  • @Jonah196 Philosophiae Doctor (PhD)

  • @2:57 Boom Goes the Dynamite!!

  • You know, on reflection, I guess he did kill Leo himself. :-}

  • @spectre0075 I actually voted for Bush the first time then I figured it out how bad he was.

I am not a union member nor a bureaucrat.

I make decisions based on facts. Fact is that McCain is a war monger and thought in 2008 that the "fundamentals of the economy are strong". Sarah Palin is simply too dumb to run the country.

So far, Obama has passed lots of good legislation, increased our standing in the world, saved our economy and got Bin Laden which Bush could not do.

  • @spectre0075 Have you always been mentally unstable?

The citizens vote for the candidate they think is most qualified. Obama won. Don't go off the deep end with your "Obama is a Kenyan socialist" rants.

Please seek psychiatric help as soon as possible.

  • We all know the Bible is evil and says you should kill in the name of a god. Can people be so dum .

  • there is no god...at least she has not yet come forth to me.

  • This is just one favorite scene of many. I would love to see this entire series over again from the top. I think it's the best drama ever on TV. At election time I always think, where is Jed Bartlett when we need him? Then I realize that even the Democrats wouldn't have him. Aaron Sorkin, maybe? ;^)

  • Oh God, that was epic!!! I just love how fundies cherry pick whatever they want that fits their lifestyles and needs, and completely disregards whatever may inconvenience them... albeit that they believe everything in that book is the 'word of God.'

Keep on cherry-picking you delusional hypocrites.

  • The Bible is an awful, repugnant, historically and culturally significant chunk of rubbish!

  • Death penalty for Homo was Mosaic law in Leviticus, many death penalty consequences for things such as working on Sunday, and eating ham (which was actually very dangerous to eat wild pigs when Moses was in the wilderness after Exodus) were set aside by Jesus (Healing on Sunday). Even after Jesus, Paul still warned that homosexuality was bad...... so that is Christian law.......Rome was fell soon after......

  • @CPM117 fwiw it wasn't sunday, the sabbath wasn't sunday until christianity decided to convert pagans.

  • @CPM117 theres also a verse from Jesus that tells slaves to obey their masters as they would obey christ. Slavery sound good to you?

  • @mitchnesbitt Well he wouldn't tell them to KILL their masters....

  • LOL is she seriously eating crabcakes?

    Shellfish, anyone?

  • @Caesey13 I think the guy at the end comes up and says something about a cream puff before taking something off her plate...

  • @ladysandry at the very end he says "I'm just... I just wanted to take that crab puff" ahaha

  • @Caesey13 Oh okay. I heard cream puff.

  • "In this white house when the President stands; nobody sits"

FUCK YEAH BITCHES. DO NOT MESS WITH BARTLET <33

  • @goffik They can't sit because their butts hurt.....

  • PWNED

  • I LOVED this show and really miss it because....well lets face it....there is nothing close to this caliber of entertainment on tv now. But - while this clip was awesome and really a high point for the show as a whole - it is totally full of inaccuracies and misquoted and wrongly applied Scriptural reference. But, so it is with even great tv - the writers can't be bothered by even the remoteness of reality and must push their own agenda on occasion.

  • I love watching this scene... and I really love the Mass Effect references too. Lol The president, whoever she/he is deserves respect. I can't imagine that a person who knew she'd be in the presence of the president wouldn't know the protocol... or even more, would be self-absorbed enough to make a point by sitting. People....

  • not quite sure why religious followers think it is their right to judge or tell others what to do.....that is the job of 'god' and god alone....the very same god you mad people claim to be believe in.

  • footballs are not actually made out of pig skin.

  • Tell me, all you individuals who so strongly speak out against homosexuality - have you ever been at any point 'homosexual'? Are you homosexual?

If you aren't/haven't been, then for the sake of humanity, be quiet. You have no right to judge other people, or their actions, or say that it's a 'lifestyle' or an active decision; only someone who is in that position can know that. If you're religious, then you'll know that's God's role, judging people.

  • the president in that owned her ass.

  • Commander Shepard's Note to Self:

Don't ever have an argument with the Illusive Man about matters even remotely related to the bible...

  • @NexAnderson

    Oh my god you're right

  • @NexAnderson

    "Toby"

    "Yes Mr. President?"

    "That's how I - ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL!"

  • It is truly mind boggling how any christian finds it reasonable to cherry pick that verse out of leviticus and ignore all else, as martin sheen points out in this clip.

  • @theodorichen

You fucking moron. Leviticus is part of the jewish bible. Judaism was around way before Christianity. A guy named Paul, who was a jew, started Christianity. You're such a fucking dope. Why don't you put down the jews? Araid to? Asshole?

  • @YankeesDaily You need to educate yourself. Jesus was a jew, the old testament allegedly prophesied his coming. The OT vindicates his claim to being the son of god. The only reason christians knock on gays is because of the OT, yet they ignore everything else it has to say. You don't know much about christianity do you? Not that it matters, it's the equivalent to being well versed in Peter Pan stories.

  • @limatime1985 What is truly mind-boggling here is that you are completely missing the point of this scene.
