  • John! He is like WOW! ;) =D

  • Fav John songs: Boris The Spider Whiskey Man Doctor, Doctor My Wife My Size Nightmare Please Wake Me Up Success Story Cousin Kevin Fiddle About Thinkin' It Over
  • Johns song always reflected and encompassed his sardonic sense of humor

  • The first Death Metal song ever .

  • @HotRodSixString not exactly a death metal song

  • it took the camera man 20 seconds to realize john is singing

  • Riverfront show was awesome too

  • without moon and entwhistle, the who would have been daltrey and townsends emo wankery forever.

  • Love this song. Somehow reminds me of Zappa.

  • One idiot does'nt like this!

  • @fatalcoolfatalcool He has arachnophobia.

  • @fatalcoolfatalcool Sorry but it's now doubled . Strange tune mate

  • Thanks to everyone for posting these Cleveland shows. Good footage from the 75 tour is rare. I was at the Toronto show several nights later, still the best concert I have ever seen.

  • vittuku keithmon kuoli.

  • The section where they go "creepy crawly" is unforgettable. This is one of those songs you hear once and always remember.Who can look at a spider now and not hear this song in their head?

  • Great to see John on lead and Keith on backup vocals !

  • Now what other group could write such a memorablly lovely song like this? It would be a silly piece of filler or any other group, but somehow it's as powerful as almost any other Who tune. Which says a lot about Entwistle and his contribution to this supergroup! Wouldn't be the same without him. And we know what it's been like the past 9 years without him. Just not the Who anymore. Bad enough without Keith for the last 30 years.

  • The Who have such a kickass sense of humor

  • saw this show,god was i stoned

  • my team is in the superbowl!! THE WHO!!!

  • its the invention of death metal growling lol

  • Good harmonies boys!

  • Is it odd that I find this song adorable?

  • He's embed ed in the ground.... HA!

  • im seeing more of john here then in the entire kids are alright documentary

  • thats cause he wrote and did lead vocals for the whole song

  • john's songs tend to have a bit of a comic relief element to who music. Anyone else agree?

  • Everybody agree. xD

  • His songs are all just so playfully dark.

Fiddle About, Cousin Kevin, Whiskey Man.

  • Did he write "My Wife" too?

  • @DaMan374 yup

  • @DaMan374 "My Wife" was also written by John Entwistle

  • @kd0duj That is a great song.

  • ... unless they think they're sick. I know people who think the songs are terrible. Seems to take a darker sense of humour :)

  • definately

  • @finisher21799 I agree, dude. I have to say, this and Whiskey Man are on my Top 5 list of best Who songs.

  • What album was that off of?

  • A Quick One/Happy Jack

    I believe.

  • Yep, it's from their second record, A quick one

  • I could see les claypool singing this, haha

  • Haha.

  • I recently discovered this song since I got a greatest hits Who collection for Christmas. And I love it! I spent part of yesterday memorizing it. (not to mention I was having a little Who-fest anyway)

  • one of my top 3 favorite who songs, awesome, awesome job by the who. rip john. he was my favorite whooligan!

  • John had a gift for writing weird but good songs. R.I.P. John. Boris the Spider is my favorite John Entwistle song.

  • Nice alembic

  • Creepy, Crawly, Creepy, Crawly, Creepy, Creepy, Crawly, Crawly, Creepy, Creepy, Crawly, Crawly!

    Brillant!

  • i can play this on the piano after a week its mad easy

  • play it on bass. then talk.

  • haha i love this song

  • theres a creepy spider right across from me

  • BORIS THE SPIDER! *in deep grungy growly voice* ROX! *normal voice*

  • one of the first type of Growl screaming.

  • Im sure many metal bands have based they're entire singing style on this one song.

  • What a bice view on metal. just imgine Slayer or Metallica playing this song in a funny way. That would be great and wouldn't be so damn serious!

  • Yeah it would be great if metal didn't take itself so seriously. The chances of that happening are slim though.

  • @EnglishGirl91 Death metal bands mainly

  • @britishmod growl screamings loooolllll is that possible????

  • i think this is the best boris video ever

  • finally, one with keith moon!

  • Boris the spider!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i luv this song lol

  • John Entwistle was certainly ahead of his time in terms of chords. Just listen to that deep voice, he sounds like the devil!

  • is this the new "Hot legs " upgrade?

    thnx

    ryan d

  • The Who is one of my tied favorite bands. The Radioactive Chicken Heads are in the top 10; their cover was done well.

  • Agreed!

  • This song is amazing, you could argue that it is the best song ever written because modern man owes a lot to the spider, if it wasn't for spiders man or humans as a spiecies would cease to exist, the planets would be thrust out of alignment and there would be world wide chaos. What better an artist to perform the worlds best song than the worlds best band, ROCK ON THE WHO !!!!

  • I forgot to say Thanks!

  • I was at this show in 1975... Richfield Coliseum.

    LZ

The Chicken Heads made a cover version.

  • your a motherfucking idiot

  • Maybe so, but at least I'm a motherfucking idiot who knows how to spell "you're."

  • Sorry. I realize "your" is used for possession, but the point stands, YOU'RE a motherfucking idiot.

  • Thank you for the correction and your admission of grammatical incorrectness. I feel much better now, don't you?

  • Indeed.
