Those typos in my last comment were because of my shitty auto corrector... But my advice if you do get banned(or muted) DON'T APPEAL ANYTHING! your bound to mess up by yourself so I would try to find help and a how to guide that shows how to write the perfect appeal. It's your only shot at getting your account back(if permanent) so might not wanna risk it :P

For one, yes, they can ban you without evidence, since it is their game. Hell no it's not fair, but they can do whatever they please with their game. Also, the reason you got the, "We have evidence that you were in control of the account" is because you forgot to bubble in "Customer support made a mistake". "I was not in control of the account" is selected by default. Since they know you were on it, and you had the "Someone was on my account reason" selected, you were automatically denied.
i had a level 102 that got perm banned for macroing. i never did macro though. when i go to the appeal offence thing and look at evidence, it says NONE!! i mean wtf? they ban me for macroing and thety have no proof..... someday i will get that account back, even if it means going to england when im 50 and forcing them to do it.

if it got denied you have to wait another 21 days for a new chance to appeal everytime they denie your appeal there is a 3 week (21 days) waiting period

JaGeX has the WORST player-discipline system out of ALL the popular MMORPGs. This is one of the reasons many RuneScape players "switch" to World of Warcraft; not because of RuneScape (the game itself) is pathetic, but the people who run it. Can it really be that hard to hire a few staff to look over player-submitted appeals to bans/mutes? They put all this effort into improving gameplay that they've completely forgot about what's most important, their players.

there are three buttons when you appeal, DENY, APOLOGY and (don´t remember the name). you probably hit DENY. it means you did not commit the offence because someone hacked the account. they do not rewiev the offence itself in this case, only run a check to see if you "were in control of the account"...
yeh ive had the same thing once it sucks ass badly...i got perm banned on a pure for saying "im pwning today,id get less kills if i had the power of a mod:P" and they perm banned me for it...and word for word they gave me the same response on ur vid...it really does suck...they need a live chat option so u can explain ur points more clearly.

JaGeX has the WORST player-discipline system out of ALL the popular MMORPGs. This is one of the reasons many RuneScape players "switch" to World of Warcraft; not because of RuneScape (the game itself) is pathetic, but the people who run it. Can it really be that hard to hire a few staff to look over player-submitted appeals to bans/mutes? They put all this effort into improving gameplay that they've completely forgot about what's most important, their players.

Lol when I first started playing, I got a few offences within my first year, but Jagex never sent me the offences, so I never knew I had them. THEN, one day I get a offense, just 1, I got check my appeal box, I have 5 OFFENCES.....and I am banned.
Those Assholes sent me all my offences at ONE TIME to get me banned on purpose.....I would have been more careful if they would have sent me each offence THE DAY I GOT THEM!!!

jagex are not in control of their own game, they resort to using automated programs to read the appeals and determine how to deal with them, that is why my appeals for getting back my account have failed everytime, even when i had all of the correct details there - twice it failed. so fuck you jagex, i'm glad i quit, let's get the fuckin' private servers up and running for us kind of people who have quit enit?

this is bad. I haven´t met the appeal system in person but i have heard some things...
there are three buttons when you appeal, DENY, APOLOGY and (don´t remember the name). you probably hit DENY. it means you did not commit the offence because someone hacked the account. they do not rewiev the offence itself in this case, only run a check to see if you "were in control of the account"...
is that the case?
