As a Dave follower i have to say interesting. But as a fan of creativity i say good work sir to who put this together. Its great to see diversity being demonstrated. Thanks
Some people just don't understand that Dave matthews is on a level that all this other mainstream junk will NEVER live up to. For a while I was all into skrillex and stuff, but I always end up back at DMB. Heart and soul man. Don't finger paint on this amazing work of art please.
@ShafferJN Bro I promise you will get over DMB. I know you will laugh when I say this but for a real singer (musician) listen to Freddy Mercury. Dude listen to some non mainstream songs of Queens, such as Killer Queen. Greatest voice ever. Nirvana is greatest band though.. LOL... Diversify bra
@calabang79 Bro I promise I won't. (: Sorry, but it's been 13 years and I still love them. As for diversity, I never said I only listen to DMB, it's just my favorite. You may have another favorite, but they are mine. I don't care who has the "best voice" or the "best band" to me they are the best. DMB also has some crazy good live jams that nobody touches in my opinion...
I thought it worked well. Both tracks were in the same keys and bpm so I don't see what everyone's problem is with it. Thanks for uploading dude keep it up
i'm amazed at how the music went almost perfect with the rapping... but in all honesty this is dishonoring dave. he is too good to be mixed with mainstream crap.
There's not much anything more mainstream than Dave Matthews Band.
Jay-z also produces a lot of underground crap that nobody cares about too. I don't see what is wrong with being mainstream. I guess it offends hippies and teenagers trying to act cool.
There's a joke somewhere about a college freshman here somewhere...
I think it is great, but I think it would 1000 times better if you ended it off with Dave rapping off the part: "Candyman tempting the thoughts of a sweet tooth tortured by the weight loss; program cutting the corners. There's a loose end, loose end, cut, cut. On the fence, could not to offend. Cut, cut, cut, cut."
I actually like it. The timing of the songs are similar so it sounds OK. Not terrible.
