I know it's been 16 years since A VERY BRADY SEQUEL - but what would y'all think if they were to make a theatrical remake of this Christmas film, with them all grown up, and of course Ben Stiller as Wally?

@crybabygirl08 I was also disappointed that no channel showed A Very Brady Christmas this year, but Rudolph, Frosty, Charlie Brown and most of the other classic animated shows did air, either on broadcast or cable, in the U.S. Do you live elsewhere?

I was really disappointed with this movie and its follow up, The Bradys. I hated how they basically changed almost everyone's personality, except for Bobby and Jan. Jan's still an uptight snob and Bobby was still my favorite. Some of their situations were not believable. Honestly, Marcia married that guy? Peter's a jerk? Greg's a doctor? Cindy's still in college?

I'm glad they showed Home Alone, A Christmas Story, Santa Clause and Santa Clause Is Coming To Town and a few others but I was also looking forward to Frosty the Snowman, Rudoff and even some of the old tv show chrismas classics but none of them came out. I totally agree with you. Stupid corporate and their crappy movies!!! >:(

Yes, I was very disappointed that "A Very Brady Christmas" not on this year and many other classic Christmas movies... Will have to buy them to watch next year. I was waiting for this, I remmeber when it first aired in 1988, I had it on VHS two recordings, they got erased or lost.

64mung. It actually aired in 1989. I recorded the original airing and tranferred it to dvd a few years ago. It is one of my favorite Christmas traditions.

The 80's did have a lot of good things come out of it! One of my favorites was the TV show "Gimme a Break!"! My feelings about Julie from that show were quite similar to that of a child of the 70's feelings for Marcia Brady! Especially when she would wear designer boots! Oh baby!

I first saw this television special of A Very Brady Christmas when it first aired on CBS. Every time I saw it aired on ABC Family and other channels, parts were skipped out due to commercial time and editing for time.

I know that this is available on VHS, but not DVD. I hope it will be released onto DVD someday.

It is on DVD. but not by itself.  It is on the bonus disc of the Brady Bunch Complete Series collection. It also includes a couple of episodes of the Brady Kids cartoon show as well as every single episode of the original series.

Did the return of Sam (costumed as Santa Claus) mean that he wanted Alice back, or was he just thinking of her because of the holiday? If he wanted her back because of the holiday, did he intend to be faithful all year for the rest of their lives--or just until the next time he met a woman younger than Alice?

Maybe Sam didn't really dump Alice for a younger woman at all. If not, why did she think he did? (I admit I don't remember.)
