It is infact possible to find a knight that isnt you. I have made it to space twice. the first game i deleted and then i was exploring space today and i was lost and i found a wormhole that i had labeled home. I actually did this in my previous game because i got lost again. so i followed it and i found my old planets and my old allies and enemies. So i contacted them and my new species and the old one had the knight background. So there, you r all wrong. unless that doesnt count as an NPC.

It doesn't. Talking to your own saved games counts as talking to your own species for the purpose of trade and whatnot. Also they may have the Knight background, but they also have the Warrior dialogue and home species voice.

It is impossible to encounter NPC Knights in space stage.

@puma7372 I think the reason why the Wanderer archetype isn't in the video is because they aren't really special. They do have an archetype, they just act and behave like Diplomats. However, Wanderers happen the worst archetype you can be because you don't have any traits card or a special power you can use. Originally, they have a power called Species Shuffler, but it wasn't programmed in and was quickly scrapped, the only left of the superpower is the name.

I tried defending my Zealot friends from some Shamans. They immeadeatly declared war on me, but I had no idea that they were Shamans. Their war dialect was extremely strange. They kept calling themselves the 'Lords of Karma', so I thought Maxis patched the Knight non-NPC thing and I found the first Knights.

Even when you ally the Grox, they're still jerks. I would know that. I allied them and asked them about their philosphy, same response as if we just met. Can't trade any items. You can't get them to attack someone because it will 'hurt their defences' (like that'll happen). You can only borrow one of their fleet ships and do missions from them. Not sure about trade routes though.

The Grox's reactions to various actions heavily differ from the norm:

-Most positive actions (trading/gifting/etc) have half the normal effect.

-The Grox *like* it when you break Galactic Code near their planets

-All negative actions anger the Grox more.

-Terraforming is negative.

-Positive actions drain faster than usual.

-You can only end war with the Grox by killing them off.

-Allying with the Grox means war with everybody else.

This is what i would do: be a herbivore in cell, be adaptible in creature, than social and religious in tribe and civ - i become a shaman because i got most green cards and one blue card. if i got 2 blues and 2 greens i become dimplomat. and if more blue, a trader.
