  • Follow me @tap_lloyd

  • The background music from 18:45 to 19:15 sounds very similar to the very beginning (prologue) of Disney's Beauty and the Beast. (it is not the same though, I checked).

  • yeS!

  • too far from reality but true... take it to technology for the use of humanity

  • get high and watch this shit!!!

  • 240p

    We meet again

  • it seems as though this is the field of tomorrow

  • "Nothing is forever" ? - wrong!. There is one thing wich exist forever SINGLE ATOM. If we leave him alone and don't exchange by any nuclear, chemical or other reaction to make a different one will be living with his electones for another 100 bilion years or to the end of our universe. You guys don't have any idea what we dealing with. Nanotechnology is like a touching the God or his perfect product. Don't screw up:)

  • SPEECHLESS!!!! he did say doo doo pussy, wtf?!?!

    and i am?

    could i be?

    number

  • imagine the weapons from that

  • SCIENCE NEVER SOUNDED SOOO SEXY

  • are these new matters will be ecologically livable or bringing a bigger problem to get rid of .When we research we should now think of the aspect of ecology also.this is my question???

  • This video is stupid.

The European Commission must be a bunch of children.

  • @DrPhallus Hahahahahahhahahahaha how ironic.

  • Like watching paint dry.

  • That's why it's all pointless, we're just nano particles of a bigger world.

  • Maybe transport of things could also happen in the future. We'll make some stargates.

  • My approach is:

With the ability to project electricity and change its shape using field dynamics, this makes all nano technology void.

I guess they should have thought of that, but unfortunately governments do this for them first.

  • With nanotechnology eventually everyone and everything will become indestructible, humans will mandate and program their own nanobots and war will cease to exist, not because there is no desire to fight, but because fighting will become impossible, no one will win. We will be able to, and have to, migrate to other planets in-order to have room for the ever growing population and money will become obsolete. Utopia.

  • @orangegold1

sometime tho you will even have weapons that destroy biological matter so war will go and continue cuz the enemy's will just vannish with everything it has so also the nanobots. which means still no Utopia :p its just the fact that everything is possible in science, you get nanobots (which means close to invincibility) but then weapons get developed to even destroy those. its like hacking and firewalls, firewalls keep getting updated so new hacking methods get developed and so on.

  • @orangegold1 Youre quit an optimist arent you? :P

  • sarcasm, but probable truth... Aliens gave humans the gift to procreate/ and LOOK at the earth now. NOW...now humans have the gift to MAKE "atoms" recreate.

Ohhhhhh nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! 25 52 STRAIGHT TO THEIR TARGET IN THE BODY! In my most childlike naive voice: I hope the good guys get their hands on this and NOT THE BAD GUYS!

  • good god i love the direction where technology is headed, we will see change in a magnitude we cant even comprehend soon... transhuman or transcendent beings!!!!! It's the ultimate flattery to our creator give or take if you believe in that stuff.

  • i dont understand these vids should be flooded with people watching and really learning,, but everyone is dummedout , i asked someone random about this and thay didnt even heard about it , lol they know face book and my space ,freakin morons ,

  • @Alientraveler003 ikr?its lik that lil circle of facebook and twitter the only modern thing they think that they kno new technology and stuff but face to face they kno nuh-thing all they care is entertainment not education funny these two words are confused mentally

  • i dont understand these vids should be flooded with people watching and really learning,, but everyone is dummedout , i asked someone random about this and thay didnt even heard about it , lol

  • The Germans lead the way - AGAIN! Outstanding.

  • Awesome. So now they will build better bombs..

No one made anything. Everything just made itself.

    What an moron.

  • @jiva34 why are u so keen on bombs?

  • Awesome. So now they will build better bombs..

No one made anything. Everything just made itself.

    What an ass.

  • The irony of the Mormon ads showing up on this video is awesome.

  • starting at :52 , the music sounds exactly like something from Danny Elfman, in the movie Edward Scissor hands

  • Using that technology on humans could achieve super powers like hard skin seeing very far away or inside our skin or super speed changing body shape and the greater of all increasing our brain activity from 10% to maybe 100% etc..we will change for ever :) and they will announce smth major about nanotech soon in the 2012 remember this and thumb sup!

  • good video but annoying narrator.

  • 3:34 woohoo, I am german and I don't understand shit, he must say some clever things .. maybe

  • Fantastic. I hope people will use this tech. responsiblely:)

  • Very interesting documentary!..

  • Whats up with the narrator? This aint Harry Potter missy...

  • SF dreams; I wonder how much of this video is actually true and how much just the dreams of researchers; I'm aware of how rapidly common technology is evolving today but this nanotech stuff looks too advanced for us and this just looks like scientists' attempts to pull some more money from the governments; truly sad.....

  • Nano-Rare Heavy Metals technology is harmful to human being.

  • Is it just me or does the scientists in Delft at 17:22 look extremely amateur, like if they would be working with basic kichen appliances ??

  • watch nokia morph video its about nano tech

  • Kung Fu with my penis...

    Cyborgs, unite!

    Cyborgs!!! Wait, wait, wait...

    Planck is your names

    Now, forever...

    ...and never again!

    !!!

  • Gimeh'! Nough!

  • What is the name of the classic music at 0:50 ?

  • @mkaatr The Carnival of the Animals: The Aquarium BY Saint-Saëns ; )-

  • @sexpen

Thank you very much sir. I really appreciate it.

    Have a wonderful day.

  • Awsome, a mormon ad before a vid on Michio Kaku. Ironic, even offensive perhaps. Michio deserves better!

  • Hal 9000

  • theres no way anyone would allow a computer to be self aware, that defeats the whole purpose of a machine. machines are our slaves designed to do our bidding with no questions asked... why would we allow them to disobey?

  • Imagine if we all concentrated on just these kinds of things... how wonderful the world could really be...

  • @MrRaptur3 All societies would need to focus on a resource based economy, rather than a money based economy for that to happen.... sadly, that may not happen for 50 years (I wouldn't expect natural resources to last too much longer than that, at the rate that we use them and garbage them), or ever....

  • @MrRaptur3 we could've had this by fucking now but to many social issues are holding us back mainly religion because people cant let go of ancient myths and fairytales made by primative idiots who knew nothing. and now we have technology and knowledge and their choosing to hold on to this religious bullshit!

  • So lets build a self assembling computer that will have the probability of becomming self aware, just as we did once, but perfected and without the flaws of nature. Then our created life form would exceed humanity, and that would leave us humans second in the food-chain.... am I the only one who get the terminator/battlestargalactica feeling from this video? :P

  • and what about a bilion of an nanometer? its way far smaller, and thats the next technology in thousan year....

  • @belley669 you do know that the smallest we with our understanding of quantum physics (as a species, not me, hell no not me) can even phathom being used for electronics is at the atomic scale. go lower and you are just building atoms. and an atom isnt much smaller than a nanometer, and can be larger. we wouldnt even currently know what to call something 1 billionth of a nanometer, because we havnt discovered or even postulated anything that small.

  • @kght222 i know it

  • @kght222 1 billionth of a nanometer would called an attometer, using the SI system for a "short" billion. But no, there aren't really any structures at that kind of scale, it doesn't really make sense to ask what the "size" of something like a quark is.

  • Great video. They should be learning very soon electrical generating systems are a continually feed system with electrons not a closed loop. They should have learned this with the discovery of an ion field inside generators, oh well, better late than never.

  • Awesome potential for benign applications for sure but I'll reserve judgement untill the cockups and malpractices start.

  • The future is going to be awesome.

  • @tubcaster too bad we'll be dead by the time the really good things start to happen.

  • @stefnasty As medicine becomes more and more powerful, we will inevitably be able to address ageing as effectively as many ordinary diseases today. Cambridge University geneticist Aubrey de Grey believes life expectancy will soon extend dramatically to 1,000 ! He also stated that the first person to live to 1,000 might be 60 already.

  • a gift from the God to the humans to know all this

  • @strike742

It is called human ingenuity for a reason.

  • Silver is a salt?

  • @TeenageIronman Salt in chemistry is an ionic compound.

  • @1freedom101 I know but my question was a bout the man that says that silver is a salt.

  • Im speechless !

  • why the hell would you dislike this lol, to smart for me its stupid lol

  • Nano Thermite is a proven scientific and legally provable reality. Go to ae911truth for some good science on nano thermite. It was found in All the dust samples.

  • Watching this makes me feel like a second grader, so stupid, "pictures on the screen don't represent light, but represent computation!"

  • Watching this makes me feel like a second grader, so stupid

  • this thing what the guy said in the end "If we want to keep or lead"(or something, I dont get it why are they competing, it would be best if whole world would work as one, more tasks could be accomplished, and science development would be a lot faster...

  • YO POLEO CON LA GENTE QUE ES MALA NO CON LA GENTE QUE ES BUENA

  • Great video, now I am less ignorant than yesterday.

  • The negative ninth dimension, what will happen to voices is just an example how to not tax the system beyond what you needed, wait till yatto to see what happens to gene hackers, it's recommended to not follow their ideal plans for themselves and the ego, but to let go of for better dimensional ergo, will they still have them looking in the wrong direction, for spaceship crashes for technology instead of stock market crashes from old countries and now split dimensions instead of smaller ones...?

  • Hello,

I would like to know how this science might be beneficial to the “Cooking” or food preparation. Based on what I have learned, this science of creating a “cloud or nano surface might be usable in containing flavors that then can be transferred or impregnated into another food to enhance the flavor, or layers of flavor.

Do you know if anyone is working in this area, or have any recommendations or questions for me?

    Chef Eddie.

  • @TheCheffEddie, Almost like wonka's gob stopper? I like that idea but how about self-assembling foods.... thats where i think YOU could benefit the most ;)

  • Amazing world of Nature, and it is fathomless, but not untouchable

by human brain, which is it self has amazing capacity.

  • Maybe a problem if you breath in that nano particle dust at 5-10 microns bad for the lungs one would think.

  • This technology could be used a lot more than it is. More money needs to be poured into this tech. Real science not pseudoscience that Hawkin come up with.

  • What I don´t get is, if there are structures that can self-assemble spontaneously, then can´t it dissasmble spontaneously as well?

  • @chocbreeze12 possibly, but in order for the structure to sefl-assemble there needs to be an attraction between the materials required to build the structure. Therefore it would required energy or something to that effect, which would disrupt these attractive forces and allow the structure to break apart again.

  • I believe in God and true religion is caring for the widows and the fatherless.

  • I believe in God and religion is loving God, your neighbor caring for the widow and the fatherless.

  • Incredible to say the least.

  • could apple sue?

  • wlw

  • I would make my farts smell like roses with nanotechnology.

  • @JizzMasterPino I would use nano-technology to make your roses smell like farts

  • At 22:32 to 22:48 He was talking about Femtoseconds 10 minus 15 seconds is a big time difference. Example: a femtosecond is to a second, what a second is to about 31.7 million years.

  • this is much more interesting than science fiction

  • Machines the size of nano meters - 1/40000th the width of a human hair.

In time the nanomachines will be developed, programed, injected or consumed, activated. They will navagate to the diagnosed problem, destroy it, and then turn off.

Since they are operating at the molecular level, interaction with brain cell electrical impulses will be an application too.

  • Does this remind you of StarGate SG1 Replicators?

  • My Brain hurts now...

  • A little bit misleading at the start... If a billion meters is a day's travel, then 1 meter's travel is less than 0.0001 seconds... not "a few seconds".

  • A SEA OF ATOMS!? MOR LIKE A UNIVERS OF ATOMS!!!

  • i admit that till now Europe has been leading in research in all sections of development since the stone ages but instead of prefferin self assembly we could use more effective construction techniques by creating assembly blocks like print blocks in printing presses assembling CNTs layer by layer in order to prevent an evet senario of a biological hazard

  • why is she whispering? her voice is rather annoying!!

  • For the record... electrons DO NOT revolve around their atomic nucleus, for if they did, the electron microscope image would show variations of Saturn Ring-like objects, but in any microscopy images you can see when doing research on the Internets, you NEVER see Saturn Ring-looking images.

What is REALLY occurring is... electrons wink in and out of existence in that atom's local spacetime. That's the electron cloud that is the familiarly seen on electromicroscopic images. NO REVOLVING at all.

  • @DancingSpiderman hmm. Interesting concept. Something to consider after reading Brian Greene's books.

  • @venturec Yeah... if you go to Google Videos, there is an 1.5+hour long video, called Energie Gratis (I forget whether it is part 1 or part 5 , but all parts are EXCELLENT) where Tom Bearden sketches as he discusses the actual nucleus-scale POV of how electrons come into and out of existence about the nucleus of an atom. There is a book "The Dancing Wu Li Masters" where an entire chapter is dedicated to the discussion of how the nuclear particles wink in-&-out of existence. No revolving -e's.

  • @DancingSpiderman

I suggest not to check this video (Energie Gratis) if you're searching educational information. But it's good as science fiction. Tom Bearden realy injects you that feeling of ZPM (zero point module) as in Stargate - Atlantis when you have almost limitless energy and nothing is impossible. That's what I like in sci-fi.

Unfortunately there has been investors with too much wishful thinking who lost a lot of money to people like Bearden.

  • @DancingSpiderman

so what your saying is that the electrons are constantly moving and they only appear and give their charge dictated by the nucleus configuration?

  • @drewschkelton The concept of valence electrons still holds. When you look at a photo of a single Uranium atom from the POV of an electron microscope; that fuzzy cloud is the visual probabilistic loci of valence electrons.

The overall shape of that electron cloud does NOT look like one or more rings of Saturn, nor does it resemble anything near what one would see if these electrons were revolving around their nucleus. Academia chose a lousy model to teach grade school students, yet they knew.

  • This is what god is about - Technology (Original the Sun)

  • "the uhth"?

  • how do we group these instruements into a mutliple device like a print head & make a machine that make s other artifacts

  • @ approx 48 secs you can hear him say, "doo doo pussy" xD

  • Technology Vs Evolution

  • @Izzzzzzo there's no ''VS''......tehcnology is PART of evolution......

  • @TweaksInYaBrain Indeed.. Its a part of it!

  • knowledge is yummy ;)

  • this can be used to have our bodies/emotions/brains to work against us. I understand that science should never be underestimated or overestimated, specially those who stand behind it. Why not use the energy, money, resources to benefit the planet and everyone in a whole, like soalr energy. This society is a society run by econmics and not common sense. For every action is a reaction and it was their choice to use knowledge for the dollar. sad

  • this is just an abuse of science and ones gift of knowledge. All for the dollar and not to use the science for humanity just wrong

  • zero loss but latency still exist?

  • for good or bad use will see !

  • This is too advanced. It can (and will) be used for militairy purposes and later on to wipe out anything or anyone that doesn't behave like the ones in power want.

If you can really place each atom like you want, you can create the biggest nightmare, only limited by your imagination.

  • finally, this is the best video ive seen on Nano-T

  • Motor of car is like nano, it pollute we don't give a piece...

  • Fine wow how we are Clever and we are good and we are.... We have find new ways for destroying the micro world to. Polot destroy everything. This is what you all are good at. Just look at Human history in the last 400-500 years. Africa was as grenn as Sout America. Look at Africa today. The White man dont even like to speak about it.... Wake up and Hell what you have destroyed until now, then you can start finding other things....!!!?

  • Yeah unlimited material prosperity but still world wide increasing social poverty. Who cares if USA or Europe are the first to flaunt their new luxory toys. . . it just means military instantly gets better but civilians have to wait plenty of years until a monopoly influent the so called civilisation with "Nice-To-Have"- or "More-Comfort"- or "Work-Less"-Nanorobots. Nanotubes improve nothing, except the unemployment statistics if you try inhaling them, what you cannot avoid.

  • Whoever did the sound editing needs to focus on reducing the bass, it's ear shattering on HiFi speakers when at a good listening volume.

Otherwise a pretty awesome video. =D

  • Crop circles are telling us whats that guy told here and God created us and everything

  • @Mopsmops

Science will always beat religion, because science actually works. Take your stupid superstitions elsewhere troll.

  • by trying to spontaniously construct an object on spontanuity is a great idea but quantum physics was founded on the idea or fact that when there is an observer spontantinuity does not occor because basically by observeing you form a reality or pattern of what will happen therefore it is no longer spontainious...

  • @bigdaddymatta

you clearly don't understand quantum mechanics at all

  • The Gray haired scientist is so depressing with his extremely materialistic views on life .

  • ITS FUNNY HOW THESE genius scientist DRESS SOOOO SIMPLE AND CASUAL..while dummies bling and shine...making it clear EMPTY VESSELS MAKE D MOST NOISE!!

  • lol harry potter music

  • I love how america has done NOTHING in this field. I swear..... we are going to be someones puppet pretty soon.... cough japan cough

  • There are people too worried about the next celebrity scandal, people like me are too lazy to go out and study, and others just want to get rich. Then theres the .0001% of us who want and do pursue things like this.

I wish I was born 50 years from now, so i wouldn't have to wait to see this amazing tech.

  • @lee155912000 yea but 50 years later , they would doo better and more complex stuff. so no win situation.

  • @dodoslovensko Ok I want to be born 1000 years in the future. Things should be so advanced by then all we'd be doing is exploring and colonizing space.

  • @MajoraProject - lol. Join the club, we Brits have been sliding into third world status for decades. Sucks.

  • fucking adds

  • you can be sure, that the military has big plans for the technology. All it will do is make more profit from consumer goods, and know how to kill people better. Sorry to look at this pesimistically, but we have the technology to make our world a better place NOW, not in the future. The powers that be, will use it to depopulate, and control us, but it's nice to know how smart we can be. ATLANTIS MKII here we come.

  • Recent studies conclude that this documentary is AWESOME!

  • Interesting, but I started laughing when this female reporter started to sound overly enthusiastic about it.

  • DOWN WITH NANO.

  • I think nanothechnology is one of the most important discovery men made, it will alter our lives on a massive scale, but nonetheless it could also be the nextgen atomic device like a thousand times stronger than Tsar Bomba....

  • I just swiched my major from spanish to chemistry last week, 2 yrs down 3 to go till graduation. If you don't have the money for school yet, go to khan academy and start to learn the basics. Voy a aprender mas de química ahorita lol =)

  • noone knows if this stuff is highly dangerous for body and nature

  • Forget laser eye surgery. Nano tech will give you the ability to shoot lasers FROM your eyes. LOL!.

  • Nano Tech is the future

  • Comment removed

  • Eastern Europe! Get together and join the science race for the better world!

  • At least they translate what the guys are saying. hmmm that would be funny a swarm of nanobots controlled by your brain that kills germs eats metal to reproduce themselves and can assemble themselves into objects such as clothes and tools or lift stuff. Now THAT would be amazing hope i get to have that in my lifetime (i'm 12 yrs old now). But it would take alot of work and debugging to get there.

  • We will soon find out that our world is technically constructed not by matter but by spirit...

    CG

  • Lol. I doubt it.

  • "Love is the most great law that ruleth this mighty and heavenly cycle, the unique power that bindeth together the diverse elements of this material world, the supreme magnetic force that directeth the movements of the spheres in the celestial realms. Love revealeth with unfailing and limitless power the mysteries latent in the universe." Baha'i Writings

  • Whats the name of the Classical music in the background?

  • dis is fukin awesome!!! i dn't knw how 27.04 mins passed away...

  • as4me

when it says "it" he means god.

why are you trying to cause a separation which is not there?

  • Why has there recentely been such an interest in nano tech in europe?
