The build went beyond my expectations. I am working on #2 from the same form. After I finish this one, I have a set of x-sections for a 14' one. I'll be glad to share some photographs of the build sequence if you're interested.
Just watched the vid again. Still impressed. I am currently restoring a chestnut canoe. The bob's special was finished July 2010 and looking forward to seeing how the chestnut compares. Do you have any details about how your build went?

Don't know how much you know about canoes, but when paddling solo, that's exactly what you do to keep the weight distribution correct. Maybe next time you'll be better informed. :-)
