Genesis does not refer to a 24 hour day... the word used in that passage is "Yom" it is Hebrew and it has 3 meanings... in the context in which it was used it means a period of time... not 24 hours... the morning and evening in Hebrew are to point out a beginning and and end of the period of time... notice day 7 does not have this... we are in day 7 now! God does not continue his creation miracles in this period of time. Human error is the error here not the words used
The 4th day does not say "created" anyone who says that is using a KJV bible which is a translation error not a prophetic error... the word used in Hebrew means "let it be shown" it does not say created but that in the 4th period of time after the "darkness above the waters" - dark cloud cover or atmospheric darkness.. was lifted the light shown up on the earth.. it does not say created... the sentence is very ambiguous, you could know its meaning either by the flow of speech or if it's marked by those light voiles,
second sentence(DAHABo ALI) means Ali's gold, third sentence (DAHABA ALIi) means Ali went away, 4th sentence (DAHABA ALIia) means HE "not Ali" went on me, by those marks a noun becomes a verb, and name becomes a noun, that's why that moon verse is confusing you, only if u r fluent Arabic you would know what it means exactly.
And with 7 - here you go, see... you have your allegations of corruption and you then come back to me with ambiguities in the Quranic language.
If only Muslims did not insist 1. that the Quran was precisely now as it was when Muhammad had it. 2. If they did not insist that every word is perfectly true. Then maybe you wouldn't be in your connundrum where you accuse the bible of corruption despite the fact the "corrupted" areas are archaeologically consistent with reality.

Genesis does not refer to a 24 hour day... the word used in that passage is "Yom" it is Hebrew and it has 3 meanings... in the context in which it was used it means a period of time... not 24 hours... the morning and evening in Hebrew are to point out a beginning and and end of the period of time... notice day 7 does not have this... we are in day 7 now! God does not continue his creation miracles in this period of time. Human error is the error here not the words used

The 4th day does not say "created" anyone who says that is using a KJV bible which is a translation error not a prophetic error... the word used in Hebrew means "let it be shown" it does not say created but that in the 4th period of time after the "darkness above the waters" - dark cloud cover or atmospheric darkness.. was lifted the light shown up on the earth.. it does not say created... Quote the Hebrew if you intend to make this argument please

secondly Islam does not allow honour killings and the only place where beheading is allowed in Islam is capital punishment for a murderer. The only other place you will see violence in Islam is when muslims are attacked. otherwise we are told in Quran 60:8 to love all people are treat them with respect. Islam is all about love and forgiveness. Why don't you acknowedge how your fellow christian was destroyed by truth and logic in this debate rather than making things up about Islam.

i don't know why muslims behead the truck driver. it doesn't sound in line with islamic teachings at all, murder is murder. i can't speak for all muslims around the world either. islam has plenty of forgiveness. our prophet (pbuh) had a spear stuck in his face and a rock smashed his tooth and he still asked God to forgive those who did it, for they were in ignorance. he (pbuh) is our example, not osama bin laden or truck killers.

I answered it and I answer again: Death is a physical death, pain is relating to the sin. God is not "a" God. You cannot compare his experiences to "other" gods. God is a unique being and his interaction with pain and phyiscal death is not something you can quantify.
And as far as "his wish" goes. Gee, notice how God switched the bodies of Jesus with "someone else". Notice how God cretaed Jesus in the womb of mary but somehow someway is "not" Jesus father. You're the one being silly.

So why can't they be treated as equals NOW?

The fact is Islam sanctioned slavery when all of this Islamic power they could have ended it. They exasperated it.

I don't think that is true. 1400 years ago slavery was so widespread, you couldn't not find a slave wherever you went. I don't think anybody had to go look for a slave to free it.Why even a little over 200 years ago, George Washington had slaves. My point is that slavery was a widespread phenomenon.
Islam was sent to all times, so it had to take slavery into account. However, it also set a system in place that encourages freeing slaves. The expatiation of many sins require you to free a slave

It was only after the white supremacy racism of Europe that became so strong did slavery return. George Washington is not a saint, not an apostle, not a writer of the Bible. In Islamic history slaves where majorly not a kidnapped people like what you see in movies, slaves were mainly solders and their families whom they bring with so they fight to the most, those enslaved solders could be Persians, Romans, and even Arabs, those who didn't fight Moslems solders were safe, so slavery was a tax for fighting, by this am not saying there was no regular trade of slaves, am just talking about the most common thing.

NO, no no no... The Mamelukes, the Caucasians, the Ethiopians, the Algerian slave trade, all of this has nothing to do with a tax for fighting. Islam initiated the battles. Slave raides on villages were well known and common. Sexual slavery was widespread and not challenged by any Islamic QUranic position. That is my point. No where is the idea of chattel slavery made repugnant based on Islamic values.

The word "zenj=ziing" is Arabic not Persian, after Arabs conquered Persians they adopted Arabic language and toke majority of words but mixed it with their accent, that's why u have it Zang, 40% of words in English language are Arabic too. Arabic in Iraq is same as in Egypt, don't keep making false accusations. You r mixing between street language (accent) and official-casual language which is 100% same everywhere in Arabic world

Find me one Muslim cleric, one Muslim leader that stood against slavery, and used the Quran to promote the emancipation of all slaves.
I can name you many Christian leaders. John Brown, Harriet Tubman are two who stand out. They were Christians, they were intensly Christian and intensly opposed to slavery.
this is my litmus test of "what religion is true".

Islam did not correct the Bible, and Islam ended up taking the New Testament morals and sending them backwards to an older time of Old Testament harsh codes of war. Slavery, domination, demogogery. These concepts were and are not upheld in the Gospels nor in the letters of Paul.
I don't care how many Popes later on, or how many corrupt bishops, cardinals, King Jameses, Baptists... all of them are false teachers as well if they taught those kind of falsehoods.

Arabic, for whatever the complexities of it is, does not make it beyond analysis. Arabic nuances certainly does not allow you to bypass admitting glaring errors in a literary text. A light is a light. A "muddy spring" is a muddy spring.
The same excuse can be said for Hebrew and greek then. Feel free to fairly re-interpret all the "mistakes" in the Bible with the same kind of endless careful nuance. Hebrew IS a Semitic language also. Greek DOES use complex nuances also.

NONE of them differ in such a way that you have "this religion" over here and "that religion over there". The only differening "religions" come from groups that are like Islam, offshots of Christianity, that came centuries after the fact. The testaments match and are reliable in their essence. And archaeology backs them up

4th: Multiple layers of translation do not generate variances that dispute the events in question. You find minor minor details pertaining to the points of view of the writers. I find that evidence that 1. they told the truth. 2. That they really existed and told what happened. If all 4 matched perfectly you would say they were doctored up. heck that's what is used against Matthew Mark and Luke now. They say that those three came from the 'same source' BECAUSE they match so well. Game over!

the sentence is very ambiguous, you could know its meaning either by the flow of speech or if it's marked by those light voiles,
second sentence(DAHABo ALI) means Ali's gold, third sentence (DAHABA ALIi) means Ali went away, 4th sentence (DAHABA ALIia) means HE "not Ali" went on me, by those marks a noun becomes a verb, and name becomes a noun, that's why that moon verse is confusing you, only if u r fluent Arabic you would know what it means exactly.
