People forget the countless video's he has made saving bee's. Also i recall one comment he reply'd to asking "What happens if you cant find the queen, do the bee's die?" to which he responded he would integrate them into other hives so all in all he saves a hell of a lot more bee's than he kills.
If you ask me the "bee-killer", on I mean "hunter", was just to lazy to do a proper cut-out. As hard of a time that honey bees are having to survive and vital to our food supply it would have been great to have saved those genetics since these bees had not been treated by man and had survived the mites, CCD, small hive beetles, foulbrood, etc.,. But, that's right bee-killer...kill the bees, take the money, and get yourself some free advertising to go kill some more honey bees. You're a joke.
you KILLED the bees???!!!WHY? dont you know theye going excinct??! AND you contaminated a couple thousand bucks in honey, too??and all that wax? THATS INSANE!!you could have trapped them and SOLD THEM AND THE HONEY!!as well as cash in on some insureance!!WHAT A WASTE OF FREE EARTH-FREINDLY RESCOURCE!!
you killed the bees??why? you could have used a vaccum to suck them into a containment cage, and harvested the fresh hoeycomb, selling the swarm, and the wax and honey!or did the owner keep it?or was it contaminated and completely laid waste by the bee-killing chemicals.what a waste of a wonderful natural rescource!
I dont understand why he had to kill most of them. If he had got the home owners to go to a safe distance while he transfered the bees to a container to rehouse safely in a hive away from the house.
@RaidersRock You don't realise the bees are there until they start to come into the room. The bees keep the honey enclosed in the comb. It's surprising the home-owner didn't see the bees working their entrance though. It may have been covered be shrubs. I deal with this a lot, people can normally smell the honey. I'm surprised these people couldn't. They're also attracted to lights at night. That should have been a give-away. I offer the home-owner 1/2 the honey plus charge a fee.
